She ain’t no games in real life so I take her serious all the time
Anyone with a name that starts with a “Z”, ends with an “i”, and isn’t some kind of Italian pasta, IS SERIOUS

Look at these stupid children who don’t know who Madame Zeroni is
Man lissen if you don’t know you better ask somebody AFTER you hit the reblog button

You're so infinitely beautiful
I look at you and see comfort, calmness
Baby you're a goddess
I would worship you for all the rest of my lifetimes
If you would just notice me
Looking at you with loving eyes

BY A WHAT
THATS ALL THE BIG SCARIES IN ONE BUG TFFF JU
Give it a dime, apparently.
Had to go research this thing, and the answer to what to do if it stings you is scream.
from Wikipedia-
“One researcher described the pain as “…immediate, excruciating, unrelenting pain that simply shuts down one’s ability to do anything, except scream. Mental discipline simply does not work in these situations. In terms of scale, the wasp’s sting is rated near the top of the Schmidt sting pain index, second only to that of the bullet ant, and is described by Schmidt as “blinding, fierce [and] shockingly electric”.“
Soooooo…dissociate to escape or?
It’s laying eggs in you.
Let’s back up a second and fully appreciate that description.
The Schmidt sting pain index, a widely used classification system for the bites and stings of ants, bees and wasps, is literally the personal ranking system of a guy named Justin Schmidt, who goes around letting bugs sting him for science. Like, that’s this Thing as a scientist.
In one entry, he describes the sting of the common bee as “almost pleasant, [like] a lover just bit your earlobe a little too hard.”
In another, the sting of the yellowjacket is described as “hot and smoky, almost irreverent. Imagine W. C. Fields extinguishing a cigar on your tongue.“
So when the Schmidt sting pain index characterises the sting of the tarantula hawk as “blinding, fierce [and] shockingly electric”, well, now you know what your standard for comparison is!
this is fascinating but when do we kinkshame Justin Schmidt

This house isn't a home.
The faucet in my bathroom has been leaking for weeks. Every night it recites back to me the days events.
Drip, drip, drip.
I’m not completely sure if the metronome of drips are slowly driving me insane or soothing my scattered thoughts until the oblivion of sleep consumes me and all that’s left is darkness.
Drip, I am awake.
The light peaking through my window blinds slowly dance across my walls as morning turns to afternoon turns to late evening until finally the only light that’s left is the one from the street light just outside my second story apartment. I’ve spent the day in bed listening to the drips of that god damn leaking faucet…
To be continued
The finishing touches are being put on the violent acts e.p. for Moon Blood. I'm hella excited.
Band love 💖💖 moon blood played gorl world fest in Pasadena last Saturday with a ton of rad bands. Had a blast. Not pictured, jon and sinead.
I'm all about that bass 💖💖
I learned in a Latin Studies class (with a chill white dude professor) that when the Europeans first saw Aztec cities they were stunned by the grid. The Aztecs had city planning and that there was no rational lay out to European cities at the time. No organization.
We don’t even teach about the moundbuilders in the US even though they are fucking fascinating and several founding fathers were obsessed with them and their mounds were literally everywhere. Just all over the fuckin place. They thought they predated American Indians because the savages clearly did not have the intellect to achieve such feats.
We don’t even teach the white washed history. We just destroyed 10′s of thousands of mounds and turned them into crop fields. Cahokia is the same size as the great pyramid and bigger than the big one in Mexico. They had trade networks from Mexico to Canada…. They were a very big deal and they were still here when the Spanish and Pilgrims first came…. We don’t teach it at all.
1491: New Revelations About the World Before Columbus, by Charles C Mann, talks about a lot of this, as well as discussing a lot of historians’ and scientists’ theories about why those civilizations disappeared/declined. It is a very cool book and worth the read.
