mackenzie shirillas parents were absolute fucking idiots and you cant convince me otherwise. what do you mean smoking weed is okay because its one of the "safer drugs". this child literally didnt eat ( from what i could gather from her childhood best friend ) because she was always doing weed and shrooms but its okay?? yall didnt try and help her?? dont even get me started on it being normal for mackenzie to drive while smoking weed.

and they were also huge enablers, talking about how disrespect towards students and faculty, bullying towards people she didnt even know, saying all that bs wasnt a problem...are we looking at the same girl here?

i know folks are gonna call me a pedo for this one, but i grew up seeing my mom and grandma naked. they had health issues and at times needed care and help showering. and i truly think more kids need to be shown the nonsexual reality of naked women at a young age. there is nothing sexual about my grandmothers breasts, they were simply body parts. more women die of heart attacks because people are too afraid of breasts to do real chest compressions, because they are scared to touch their breasts. the sexualization of our bodies literally kills us. i need people to be more normal about naked bodies and i'm 100% serious.

i think cassandra clare really has a way with words. in the shadowhunter books the central and even side romance is so well written with the poetic prose and the pretty words, the emotions and desire of the characters just comes off the page. even if i dont really ship the characters the way the prose is sculpted still makes me see what they see and feel their feelings. her writing has always given a n old timey, typewriter vibe for me, and i love the way some words and sentences glitter like embers on the pages, little candles that light up my day. the relationships in the shadowhunter universe are continuous, and we get to see them after they're in a relationship, after the spotlight isn't theirs anymore, and that makes them so much more real.

I hate anti-vaxers now. Actively loathe them. There was a time where I had a modicum of empathy and understanding for people being distrustful of the medical establishment, even though every study has shown that vaccines are safe and effective and beneficial, I know some wounds are hard to heal. Now? If you’re seeing the people regurgitating anti-vaccine misinformation and witnessing their agendas, reading the news reports of diseases that were nearly eradicated coming back to kill children again, hearing the distress and fear from medical professionals and parents of immunocompromised children and still saying “Hmm. Fuck you.” and deciding not to vaccinate your children and yourself, there is no excuse for you. You’d like to see me dead. I’m not tiptoeing around you. You’re a horrible person and a terrible parent.

i miss an era i wasn't part of. i miss parties and mean girls and teachers who didn't care. i miss talking in person and dates and cute movie theaters. i miss music and concerts and smoking. i miss slutty costumes and driving and no curfew. i miss fashion and cars and band posters. i miss roller blading and skating and exploring the city. i miss friends and spontaniety and adventure. i miss late nights and music and sex. i miss love and slasher movies and wired headphones.

i hold such nostolgia for an era that i have only witnessed through stories and movies and tv and books and music and fashion

I absolutely hate feeling insecure or scared to do something that other people find so easy to do. and I'm a fucking extrovert, yet some how I can't find the courage to text or call people even when I really want to. but I somehow manage to convince myself that they're going to find me annoying or they don't want to talk to me. and then I feel insecure when I'm on the phone, even though everybody always talks about how they wish people would call instead of texting. and this sounds like something that should only happen occasionally. but no, it happens every fucking time. why? why can't I just talk to people?
