Key west vacation
In the process of learning that it’s okay to change your mind. It’s okay if plans change and different paths are followed. It’s a part of life.
In case anyone else needs to hear this: everything will be okay. You’re not letting anybody down. Doing what makes you happy is the right decision even if it feels wrong.
Things my therapist says:
Getting through a tough period requires acceptance. Not always accepting that it’s okay, but sometimes accepting that you’re not okay with what’s happening and moving on
You can’t spend all your time worrying about the things that are out of your control. You need to take the time to get yourself at the best possible spot. That way when there is something you can control, you can act accordingly and make a positive difference
Just finished reading “The Little Liar” by Mitch Albom. The novel takes place during WW2 in a Greek city with a predominantly high Jewish population. This book was beautifully written and I wish I could experience it again for the first.
A New Year’s resolution was to read more books in 2025 and this was a great start to it.
