v682C is '''nicer''' in a lot of ways but he also just has less later-season built in plot armor if u know what i mean... c137 having a hyperspecific gadget for everything... not that i DONT like that. it makes him scary. but i like to picture this rick working with shit from the neighbors garbage can and its infinitely more funny and charming to me. instead of havng something on hand he has to take time making it which can get them into a lot of trouble lmao

hes definitely still got cybernetics (obviously) but theyre installed worse and dont blend in at all. if they get wet in the rain or anything they get a bit sparky and they shock him and he hasnt fixed it because hes ''''busy''''. his main portal gun is all fucked up looking. most of his tech has ducttape involved. he doesnt go out as much and i imagine other ricks call ricks like him hermit ricks lmao

he and morty met after the evil rick incident. the citadel basically called him up and said YOU dont have a morty. this universe is vulnerable without a rick!! and v682A and B are dead so youre next in line !!! here you go :) and so he picked up morty and brought him back to his family. amd now rick sort of has two universes with two houses lmao (i have no idea if/why the citadel would do this but idc. ill figure that out later)

morty's old rick was more 'stereotypical' rick and all that so the adaption to this weird kind of crotchety rick who has no idea how to reply to being called grandpa let alone dad is a bit of an adjustment. hes getting used to not getting pulled out of class all the time.. but it does kind of piss him off in a messed up way because he's been used to the verbal fights and he thinks new rick thinks hes delicate from the kidnapping incident. which he might be but its going unaddressed right now.

hes not meeker from the incident. i think hes quieter but not as nervous.. he is adapting. weird new grandpa weird more protective family from the incident because they thought he was fully dead and all that..

I wanna start this by saying that rick and morty, great show, ok? It's in the top 4 adult animated series I can tolerate it's most definitely not number 1, but it's up there, I can appreciate it for what it is BUT one of my main criticisms is that it has a weird amount of inc3st/borderline inc3st.

I get it that rnm and almost all adult animated shows run on shock humor, but you can have shocking humor/edgy humor w/out adding inc3st. Like does it have to have MULTIPLE episodes surrounding it???
