There are currently two, but I ran out of steam for the first one so you’re gonna hear about #2 😆

For this one, I am transplanting all HR characters into the Shadow World, meaning they are all either Shadowhunters or Downworlders.

The Hollanders are Nephilim, not a particularly old or powerful bloodline, but they are more wealthy than most family due to investments in Mundane markets. Yuna has Seelie blood, enough to make her visibly stand out, but the Clave is willing to overlook it for Montreal’s success.

Shane is one of the best fighters of his generation, but not the best. That honor will always go to the Lightwoods, and he is incredibly bitter about this. He has no parabatai, even though Hayden tried very hard to convince him.

Ilya is a vampire, I’m not set on his age yet, but he is definitely on the baby side in immortal terms. Svetlana is a warlock. The two of them accidentally started a vamp clan in Boston (the Bears), then Ilya got distracted by a shiny Shadowhunter in Montreal and dumped all responsibility on his underlings.

This story will follow the show timeline, which means in 2017, Alexander Lightwood will change a lot of people’s lives by kissing Magnus Bane during his own wedding to a Nephilim woman 🌈🌈🌈

Btw Scott Hunter is being an incognito gay in the NY Institute and has his own situationship with a cute werewolf.

highly recommend: making that character’s mourning WORSE!!!! make them play pretend with that corpse. make it seem like they’re moving on until they start telling the new person to start dyeing their hair the color of the person they lost and start calling them their name to make it clear that they’re hanging out with this person now to try and make them into the old one. make your grieving character put people in the same situation the person they’re mourning died in and have them hope they die to prove it was unpreventable. make your grieving character put people in the same situation the person they’re mourning died in and have them hope they live to prove that it wasn’t doomed to happened. make your grieving characters actively harm the people around them and the memory of the person they lost.
