Thank you! It was an investment. I use a JVC HR-S9500U, but sometimes use a basic Samsung VCR if things don’t play well with it, and that gets digitized and upscaled to an Avermedia EzRecorder 130. Then i do some post work to fix the aspect ratio these days.

I’m obsessed with the cover of this tape. Very A E S T H E T I C in my opinion. 

This is actually a great instructional on how to build a deck. Not much has changed since 1987 when it comes to decks. I love the way they weave in the ads for that beautiful shiny new Chevy truck.

I can’t for the life of me remember where this tape came from. It may actually be helpful to someone who owns this unit. Not much to say, just a little peek into how late 90′s instructional videos looked. Enjoy.

I got this tape from Goodwill. It is basically a long advertisement for God and apocalypse survival equipment. It’s starts out normal enough, but gets really preachy really quick.

This is why I do what I do. This tape shows its age so well, and how far computers have come in 20 something years. The feel of this video is so dark, cold, and almost dystopian. It is a highly dramatized version of the anxiety people had about new technology in the mid 90’s. It’s a highly entertaining tape, and it’s going into my personal collection for sure. Please enjoy.

This product is actually kinda dope, we have one at my work. But I don’t think a video is entirely necessary. But as always, I’m glad it exists.
