What really gets me about a lot of the transandrophobia on this website is the fact that people love to ignore that tons of trans men are also barred from sports, except for us its silently, theres almost no fight about it and no support for us.
Do any of you know who he is?
This is Mack Beggs, a southern trans man. Mack is a wrestler who was forced to fight in the girls state championship which he had to fight tooth and nail to be included in at all. Even now when Mack fights on a mens team he engages in activism for mental health of trans youth and for other trans athletes and yet people have the audacity to come on here and say that transmasculine people contribute nothing to the movement. Have you ever heard of him? Or was it such a quiet modest celebration that you didn’t even know he existed.
And thats how it is with trans men. It is not better to be publicly shamed and harassed but being voiceless comes with its own struggles. When we’re allowed to compete in women's sports, something we shouldn’t be forced to do in the first place, it’s almost always under the condition that we are not taking testosterone. When we are competing in mens sports, if we’re not turned away at the gate for being a “woman” we face the physical danger of assault, sexual or otherwise, in the locker room. How can you call that privilege?
This post comes with no intention to invalidate anyone else’s experiences, only to uplift those of transmascs.
gotta hate being affected by a unique intersection of transphobia and misogyny which is not allowed to be called transmisogyny but also isn’t allowed to be given any other name or else i’m evil

one time I went over to a friend's house and their housemate was making paper in the living room, and we saw this big tub full of water they were using to dissolve old scrap paper into a slurry, and everyone was immediately like "oh, you need scrap paper?" and started turning out their jacket pockets and producing expired coupons and bus tickets and crumpled receipts and old shopping lists and whatever else they'd been carrying round with them for no good reason, and passing it all to the paper-making housemate to make sure it was suitable before it got torn up and dropped into the tub, while people took turns stirring the slurry with a big wooden stick. it was strangely ritualistic, like presenting an offering to some kind of temple elder for inspection before placing it in a watery shrine to be devoured and reformed. pulp for the pulp god.
it would be so nice if I could get what I want for once in my life
Ok*reduces you to a simmer* go rest for a while
float like a butterfly (nervously forgets end of quote) green like a pea
i wish there was more social existence you could participate in laying down. I wish there were cafes that were two little futon beds parallel to each other with a low table in between so you could eat and drink while lounging. I wish there were group activities like painting or glazing clay or theaters that were designed to have beds and bed-height tables instead of chairs. I wish there were beds alongside benches outside for anyone to use. I wish air mattresses or roll-out beds were as common as cheap shitty chairs at things like barbeques, beaches, and concerts. so much life would open up to me and be enjoyable if I could lay down instead of sitting or standing for prolonged periods and completely wearing myself down with pain.
so im having a piss in the bathroom (where its supposed to go…) and these vaping godless wenches think the sound of my tinkle warrants a giggle. does anyone know how to get me in contact with some powerful etsy witches for a cheap and swift vengeance
went to take a piss and two girls sharing a vape went “oml this girl is actually pissing” yes girl because it’s the piss room
wow get a load of this guy
using the room with plumbing for the purpose of pissing to piss what a LOSER amirite
would either of you like to purchase my ex wife's gently used playstation portable console
I had to mentally send myself a reaction image the other day. I ran up the stairs on all fours, said to myself “i’m such a locationpilled scampercel” and then perfectly envisioned this image
please i've already hurt so much
It's literally so punk, so counterculture, to be fat and anti diet. People hate it. They hate it so much that you eat food for pleasure instead of weight loss. It's freeing
