got a yt recommendation for a video about “the fear of big things in the ocean” and i was like, “yeah, and im afraid of big things in the air too” and then thought too hard about a giant squid in the sky and scared myself. so that’s how my 5am is going.

i know those big ass leviathans or whatever theyre called from subnautica are supposed to be scary, but i find them SO GENUINELY upsetting even thinking about them while laying in bed makes me clammy. i am totally fine with kaijus. those videos that are like “how it would look like if the planets were as close as our moon” makes me want to cry. there was this one dumb account on tiktok that rendered giant 3D monsters, and they did that big fucking skeleton monster guy from attack on titan and i have a visceral reaction just thinking about it. in general i am not afraid of giants. i dont know the correlation between all these things because its not just “thing that is big” or “thing that is big that shouldn’t be big”
