Talia Lolirock is so funny to me.

She's a cool older sister type and your typical blue magical girl. Smart, reserved, skilled. Mostly serious but is able to engage in shenanigans when influenced by the other girls on the team. You think you know what her deal is...

And then we get to episode six (incredibly early on) where you get to find out that she was the reason her entire family is dead.

Talia, at the age of eight (8!!!!), ran away to go to a festival, and because her sister gave her protection, her entire nation fell and was brutally slaughtered. She came back to her home in FLAMES. Her parents are presumably dead and she thought her sister was equally dead.

There's literally a clip of her crying and trying to hide from the man who killed her parents at the age of 8. You know, the man who was able to take over her kingdom because she was at a festival. Because she was 8.

She has time-travel abilities available to her and she doesn't use them because of her SURVIVOR'S GUILT from when she was 8.

Mind you, this was revealed in EPISODE SIX. You don't even know these people yet. The other girls find this out by teasing her about her "secret boyfriend" and they get this. They did a summer camp episode after this.

She's a 48 year old (I feel like people should acknowledge this more) teenager.

She canonically cusses. She swears with so much enthusiasm in one episode that it singlehandedly killed the show's impact in the West. Talia did that. She winked at the camera and gave a thumbs up while she did it.

Talia killed the show in the west like she killed her entire nation. With a smile and unaware of the impact it would bring.

She's so tragic it's kind of comical because compared to the rest of the show... like what the FUCK were they on with her. What do you MEAN???? WHAT?!?!?! TALIA?!

12 years ago, when I came across an animated series about magical girls, I didn't even think how much it would change my life. For 10 years we waited for the sequel, joked, but did not lose hope (some especially strongly).

I've been drawing designs and adoptions based on this fandom for 10 years. by far, this is the most favorite style and theme for the paradise.

I'm glad to know that Lolirock will be back with a new season. this means that you can draw more!
