Trying to keep a tally of all MLH team mentioned or depicted in Heated Rivalry. Let me know if I've missed any and if anyone has screenshots to add- please do I am begging.
Spoilers under the cut if your worried specifically about MLH teams depictions or potential teams that may show up in season 2
•Huston Drillers (shown on draft day, third overall pick on screen and Tierny confirmed the name and logo design on What Chaos podcast time stamp: 28 minutes) [green and black-Drill Tower splooging oil out the top logo]
•Anaheim Hammerheads* (First Admirals game, episode 3-just the logo and city are shown on the goal card up top and no confirmation on the name* but I have to believe they couldn't use sharks for legal purposes if the bears was too close to the Boston team) [navy blue, pastel blue, orange, yellow- hammerhead shark Logo ]
•Minnesota Nomads (rookie of the year nominations) [no team info depicted]
•San Francisco Missions (they are depicted on ice, we have shots from playoffs; both Admirals and Raider's cup wins. The costume creator also posted costume designs and mock ups on her Instagram @ hannichka) [light blue, Green, Gold,Tannish brown - stylised depiction of a California Mission building logo 🥴]
•Chicago referenced as a location but I can't find any reference to their name or logo so far in my rewatches
•New York Admirals-Scott hunters stomping grounds! [Red, Blue, White- empire State building logo]
•Montreal Metros- Shane's team [Navy blue and Red- stylised M with a fleur de lis (intentionally looks like a booty hole) logo]
•Boston Raiders- Ilyas season one team [black, gold and red trimming-a Canon (intentionally framed as a dick and balls) logo]
Now in the second interview Tierney did for What Chaos, the Centaurs were also mentioned (Ottowa's book team name) and Tierney said they were getting renamed - so I'm sure we will get some buckwild changes with that being a prominent team in the rest of the books hope we get a new horrific horror mascot like in the books!
Other ones to possibly be on the look out for although I'm sure they will limit/change plot location relevance to save money during production:
Toronto-Ryan Price plays there during Tough Guy/Wyatt and Troy are traded from there in Role Model to Ottawa
Buffalo-mutiple chirps by Ilya as a shitty team especially once he's on the Centaurs
Vancouver- Troy's home town- he plays a shit game there, he and Ilya bond over shitty dads and hating to lose.
Los Angeles-Shane hangs with Rose in Long Game while playing there -could easily be changed to Anaheim though or not shown at all.
I do love that when the Heated Rivalry’s show runner was asked about casting queer actors to play queer characters he ignored the bait and was just straight up like “You can’t ask that. That’s illegal.” lmao because yeah. It is. Weird how a lot of discourse on this subject acts like this is not a factor.
In the wild capybaras live in large groups so naturally a female capybara will take care of not only her own offspring, but all of the other offspring in the group. So capybaras are super great mothers who will adopt pretty much anything and take care of it.
Lots of places that rescue different animals will give a group of baby animals to a capybara to raise if they have one.

Emus
They are just super calm animals so they’re naturally great at mothering or just existing in a group!
we’re literally seeing someone travel through the bridge throat, you can see the curve of an atmosphere emerging below the opposing realms. a path that leads through dimension X.
a distinct cycle is happening. the freezing of time in the upside down and the memorializing of november 6th as the children of hawkins continue to be taken around that anniversary. the twelve cocoons that must be filled is reminiscent of the faces of a clock. i wanna know what happens when this clock is able to make a full circle. it’s confirmed that the upside down is trapped in this sphere, with hawkins lab at the center. it’s like the dial.
