You find out that someone has been scamming you.
But instead of wanting to take them down, you want to help them and make sure they scam other people also, because it's unfair for you to be scammed and others to not.
Sounds ridiculous, right?
Well that's exactly what you're doing when you complain about student loan forgiveness or anything else where you say "I had to go though it so you should too".
As always, the groomers are the conservatives.
It’s now a felony in Alabama to give trans kids under 20 hrt or affirmative surgery
Teachers and medical professionals will also be required to out trans kids to their parents
Trans kids on hrt and their parents should get out of Alabama as soon as they can, and if you’re a trans kid in that state and you’re not out to your parents, don’t let any teachers or doctors find out
As of March 5th, the bill is not law yet. It has been passed by the Alabama Senate, but it has not been approved by the governor. The article isn’t super clear on how close the House bill is to the Senate bill, either, so the bill may also be delayed while they reach a compromise.
It probably will become law–I don’t particularly trust Kay Ivey, and it could pass with a revote even if she does veto it–but crucially, it isn’t law yet.
Anyone under 20 who is on puberty blockers or HRT and can’t leave Alabama should look into switching their care to an out-of-state facility as soon as possible. EDIT: Trans in the South (link) has a directory of different options for trans-affirming healthcare in southern states. From my understanding, the bill does not make it illegal to possess puberty blockers or HRT that was prescribed out-of-state.
The ACLU of Alabama has a list of action items as well as a digital tool kit for pushing back on this bill that includes things that folks outside the state can do. I really recommend taking a look at their page for anyone worried about this bill.

Brilliant.
The 5 things you gotta know before you let that cop into your house
THIS STUFF IS SOOO IMPORTANT TO KNOW. Seriously. It’s saved my ass before.
What do you do when you look through the peephole and see a badge?
Remember: You do not have to let the police in the house unless they have a warrant — or probable cause. If you’re having a party, turn off the music, ask your guests to chill, and ask that anyone who’s too intoxicated carry on in another room.
Go outside to speak with the cops. Close the door behind you. Although some scary precedents are being set these days, police cannot enter your home without a warrant or probable cause. By closing the door, you’re cutting off a visual — or olfactory — line to potential probable cause.
Be polite. Ask why they are there. “Good evening, Officer. What can I help you with?”
Where possible, assure them you will take care of the problem. If the police ask to enter, inform them, “I do not consent to any searches.” If a police officer gives you an order and you are confused about your position, ask, “Do I have to comply?” If they continue with questioning, tell them you’ll need to call your lawyer and that you will not answer any questions.
Ask, “Am I free to leave?” This is especially handy if, say, a group of you’d been too bawdy on the patio and an officer stops by. If he/she is getting a bit hot under the collar, politely ask, “Am I being detained?” or “Am I free to leave?” If the cop has no reason to hold you, quickly, quietly, and politely retreat inside.
The POC’s Bill of Rights when it comes to the Police. Remember. These are your rights.

wishing gender euphoria on all trans people, wishing for all trans people to feel at home in their bodies, to be absolutely and entirely in love with and at peace in their bodies
I love sending those sanctimonious fools those quotes by the Founding Fathers either stating plainly that Christianity has no part of governing the country, or are openly hostile to it! Just to shut their moron mouths!
