A gift I made for my daughter who adores Journey.
Really blown away by all the likes and reblogs I've gotten lately.
I honestly don't know what to say except thank you, it really means a lot.
I'm working on something pretty neat ATM but it's super complicated so it's taking a while.
Then maybe I'll do some more mhwilds art because you all seemed to really like that.
Not completely jazzed with how this turned out but it was quite a quick thing so not too painful.
A "fish" you can catch in the game Warframe.
Doing more of these "Daily" things now my queue has run out. I quite liked how this one turned out but I agonized way too much over the color choices.
A quick warm-up study of a type of moth I get in my house.
I might do some more of these as I love moths and we get so many different types here.
This is my favorite of everything I've ever drawn. A view from Ark Ascended. I loved every minute of making this and it's now my phone background.
If you're considering learning pixel art - or any art - just go for it, it will be fun, it will suck, it will be frustrating and wonderful and absolutely worth it.
So this is as far as I got before I got distracted (Ark Ascended) and dropped the ball. I'll be back to do more but in the meantime here is everything so far along with the beginnings of my comfort OC Marco.
I absolutely cannot get his face right but I'll get there eventually.
Felt like doing something fast and simple and then spent ages on this lol.
Day 11 (Sorry I'm only sharing my faves - my confidence needs some work).
Enjoyed working with the light/dark contrast on this one.
This is probably one of my favorite things I've ever made and I honestly thought it looked awful until the last few details went in.
So if you're working on something and you get a case of the doubts maybe keep going because you might surprise yourself.
I feel kind of bad about this one . . . Sorry little guy.
Another planned travel poster for Subnautica's Safe Shallows.
I re-used some of the fish I made a while back. I still haven't found a font I like lol.
Day six of "Daily" art.
This dangerous little creature (or community of creatures) was a bit of a challenge to get right but I think I did good. (I'm working hard on being positive about my art, I hope I don't come off as up-myself.)
Day 4 of my "Daily" art galley.
A cat in a bowl that took ages considering how small it is.
Doing some travel posters for games I like and started with Monster Hunter Wilds and the Windward Plains.
This was fun but I feel like I'll come back and redo it once I get my eye back in.
Also when I figure out what font I need for the slogans etc.
This was day 3 on my Galley Bg.
I really like how the hills in the background came out.
Made myself a background for my PC that doubles as a gallery for my daily art. I'm not actually holding myself to doing it everyday but I'm doing my best.
I'll share my faves as I go along and the finished piece when it's all filled up.
