you dont get it. you dont get it. seeing this man with the 18 number jersey stay committed to the same team, for 18 years, being the only veteran player in the team for all those years, facing so many crushing defeats in the finals over and over again, getting mocked and being called foolish/masochist for being one of the greatest this sport has ever seen and still sticking with the team that didnt win, getting threats against his daughter and wife for not bringing the cup, having propagandas about how he would never lift that trophy unless he left the team-

but today, after 18 fucking years. he gets to win this. he gets to win this with the same iconic red team that was 'done for', the same team that always had to cope with the 'Next Year™'. and most importantly, he gets add that one final trophy that was missing with every other big trophy u can ever win in this sport. he's done it all. he's won it all.

and today he gets to cry of happiness and still say the same words 'my heart is with bangalore, my soul is with bangalore. i always wanted to win with this team and no other team.'
