Love a good weird and fucked up doctor who episode
I love that Ruby just wakes up one day and decides to just bring down the Prime Minister and then goes on a years long stealth mission, where she only meets him once and single handedly stops him from creating nuclear Armageddon. Very Martha Jones coded of her.
Doctor Who spoilers without context
i… LOVED that? oh my god. one of the most experimental, unique, bold, haunting, and utterly FASCINATING episodes in the entire history of doctor who. i will be thinking about it for an eternity… wow. i still don’t entirely know what to make of it all but i am genuinely in AWE.
I love when Doctor Who gets all weird and fucked up but also I'm left with so many questions, mainly why everyone ran away from the woman/old Ruby and also where the hell the Doctor went after he stepped on the circle but maybe we just aren't meant to know??
am i the only one who LOVES that we don't know??? like i'm sure it's going to be explained at some point this season (or after), but even if it's not GOSH I LOVE IT SO MUCH
it gave me a lot of clara's vibes mixed with torchwood/sarah janes's, am i the only one?
also, i liked that we don't really get the mystery behind it all. as if the secret cannot entirely be revealed to us. just like in that amazing torchwood ep with the fairies.
anyway, amazing writing.
73 yards: oh i so loved that one
this season is getting better and better
this ep was so good. exactly what i love about dw. i'm so happy moffat came back to write. makes me cry like hell, but omg. and the fish and custard reference, i'm a fucking mess. please more of this
Only Moffat could make me cry in 2024 at 12:44 in the morning by mentioning fish custard
oh moffat, i love you
