“bits to use in everyday conversations”
The devaluing of sex to the point that it’s no different than flipping burgers is rape culture rhetoric. If not explicit rape apologia.
If sex is nothing special or unique, rape is just like any other violent crime. If that’s the case, why should a rapist be punished more harshly than a person that punched someone on the street? Why should a rape victim be given any extra care or resources? Or sympathy?
If sex is no different than shaking hands, why shouldn’t that woman let her husband have sex with her even though she’s not in the mood? Why shouldn’t that 15 year old girl have sex she isn’t ready for when her boyfriend claims “blue balls”? She’d give him a hug if he was sad and that might as well be the same as sex. Why shouldn’t children be exposed to sex? If there’s nothing unique about sex, it’s basically the same as watching a sport or Animal Planet show.
I can't stand these pro-porn dumbasses who think feminists are scared of seeing boob pics when we are obviously talking about the horrible brutalization, dehumanization and torture of women that happens behind the scenes and directly in porn media. And that is of extremely easy access even for children
I'd also like to point out how MtF transgenderism is inherenty classist by the way, because it hold girlhood/womanhood to capitalistic standards of what is to be a girl/woman based not only in insulting stereotypes of character, but also of consumerism.
When i see TiM's performing "femininity" is always from a product stand point. Dylan Mulvaney, for example, talks about girlhood from his pink apartment, in his expensive clothing, with what he thinks girls get during their childhood because that's what media told them girlhood/womanhood is. And this applies for almost every single famous TiM out there right now.
But what about the other girlhood? What about the poor woman's womanhood?
What about the girlhood of the girl who never had a doll because her parents cannot afford it? what about the woman who doesn't wear make up or nice clothes because she's mother of five and she has no time nor money for it? What about the girls who are busy cooking for their younger siblings, cleaning the house, because they have only one parent and that parent is working their ass off? What about the girl who wear whatever her slightly older male brother/cousin passes down, because the clothing in her family is inherited. What about the girl who never had a pink room because she slept in an orphanage with another 20 children?
What about the women who don't perform femininity because they can't afford it? By these people's standards that's not womanhood apparently. TiFs in general will point out how they are not women because they don't perform the pink cutie stuff nor feel "identified" with the femenine stereotype, without realizing poor women never did it in the first place; because they where busy trying not to starve, too busy trying to be strong to care about not being women just because they wore clothes from the male aisle. More so when even despite not performing the pink cutie stuff, the world will never ever allow them to forget they are not only poor but poor women in the first place.
if you are pro life you are a terrorist to me. i don’t believe you see women as people. i don’t give a shit if a fetus is a person or not, it has no right to leech off the body of another person. pregnancy uses up your nutrients, shatters your pelvic floor, your teeth can fall out, it effects your vision, giving birth can tear your clitoris. literally so much shit can happen. go ask your mom, she’ll tell you. if you want people going through that against their will you are a goddamn demon
thank you leftist man for supporting women's rights to cater to you sexually no matter what. you are so brave. i also really appreciate how you criticize conservative views that keep women from being sexually available to you. as a male feminist truly you understand that the ultimate goal of feminism is for women to choose to do whatever is most convenient for your penis. you are our #1 ally.
