tell me about rusty! what happened to his arm? and his eye? (also a bit off topic but i’ve never really made an oc so what inspired you to make this character?)

Rusty gets all of his scars and injuries by not really thinking anything through. He lacks thoughts.

I created him in history while I was bored. I started to draw him in my notes until I started to really like his design. When it comes to making an oc, I just create a simple concept of a character (in Rusty’s case, a mermaid with scars) and then I start to build up a personality and other details such as accessories and clothes.
