As I’m currently lying in bed, I’m just thinking about how my love language involves a lot of physical contact. For me, at least, I think it’s a beautiful way to express my love and affection for someone.
Not only that, but when it comes to heartbeats, I think it’s super romantic and intimate when you hug your significant other and you can feel their heart beating against your chest, or even if you put your hand on their chest to feel the thumps of their heart and they do the same to you as well. Things like that, are just something I could never get tired of. Then cuddling together in bed, having an ear placed on their chest to listen to the soft and soothing beating of their heart as you get lost in the rhythm and let it lull you to sleep. Being together in that beautiful moment of intimacy is something very special to me.
Heartbeats are just beautiful, amazing, and sexy. Such a beautiful sound contained in that small organ, pumping life into our bodies.
I swear this community can be strange sometimes. On one side, we have people sticking needles in their chest (do I need to explain why this is dangerous), then we have people who are too horny for their own good who keep on scaring women off this site.

1. It was back in my kindergarten days when this happened. Let's call her V. It was during recess break, and everyone was playing on the playground. I randomly realized how fast my heart was beating, and I noticed V was nearby. So, I asked her if she could follow me, and I brought her under the slide, thinking we'd have privacy (obviously, we didn't). I ended up gently taking her hand and placing it on my chest, and she felt my heart pounding, but sadly, she didn't think much of it. We both moved on from that point.
2. When I imitate the sound of a heartbeat, I tend to default to "thump-thump". Now, I'm probably in the minority for this one, but I sometimes say "ba-dump, ba-dump".
3. My favorite auscultation points are tricuspid and mitral, but I tend to end up defaulting to mitral.
4. I'd say my ultimate SFW cardiophile fantasy would be if me and my significant other were cuddling together, and she brings my head to her chest, so I can hear her heart beating calmly in my ear, or gently brings my hand to her heart to feel it thumping against my palm. Or, if she just finished exercise and her heart's pounding away, then she asks me to feel or listen to her heart pounding away in her chest.
5. This fantasy would be doing the deed with my future significant other and she either brings my hand to her heart so I can feel it beating so fast against my palm, and she keeps my hand there, or she brings my ear to her heart, so I can hear it pounding away in her chest. Best case scenario, we both have stethoscopes, and we listen to each other's heartbeats as they both pound in unison. Once we both finish, we keep listening to our heartbeats as they slow down to a more relaxed rate.
6. I prefer to listen, but I'm a switch, so I definitely don't mind being listened to.
7. Never had an awkward moment at a doctor's appointment.
8. I've kept this secret under wraps for years, so I'm in the clear for this aspect.
9. As of right now, I've never had one.
10. Same answer as #9.
11. I don't drink that much caffeine to where it would have an effect on my heart rate, so I couldn't really say.
12. I do not own such a watch, but maybe one day.
13. I don't own any of the listed equipment in this question. I don't live alone, so I don't need people asking me questions lol
14. Honestly, I love listening to both fast and slow heartbeats. I tend to prefer fast heartbeats as I like hearing them beating excitedly in my ears, but I definitely don't mind listening to them beating slowly, as I also find that soothing.
15. Depends on the situation and context, but I prefer having a slow heart rate. If my future significant other were to be dealing with anxiety, I can just hold her close to my chest, and let her listen to my heart beating slowly in her ear, hopefully calming her down and easing her mind. I like to be that dependable person for others.
16. Other than doing exercise to get my heartbeat faster, then recording it, and posting the audio files on my blog, I don't purposely do anything else to get my heart rate faster.
17. I would like to have the chance to, but I have not.
18. Nope.
19. Never had white coat syndrome, my visits to the doctor was for my asthma as it was more prevalent back when I was younger.
20. Never thought much of it at the time, since I was very young the last time I went to the doctor.
21. Nope, my knowledge of hearts was nowhere near what it is now.
22. I have kept this secret to myself for a very long time. My only solace is talking to people on here or similar platforms who mutually share this fascination with heartbeats.
23. I thought about this for a hot minute, and I legitimately don't have an answer for this.
24. My mom has walked into my room multiple times while I was listening to heart audios, but I'm usually tabbed out to something else or doing some work, so she doesn't get suspicious.
25. I don't have a nickname for my heart.
26. I have never had any of those.
27. A comment that will definitely get me flustered is if my future significant other is listening to my heart as it's pounding away in my chest, and she asks me: "Is your heart beating this fast for me? I can hear it pounding so hard and loud...I love it." That would just make me melt, honestly.
28. In a medical scenario, I can say "heart" or "heartbeat" just fine, no problem. But in an informal setting, with friends or family, you will not catch me saying either of those words lol
29. My favorite pulse point on myself is the chest, containing the beautiful sound that I cherish so much. Same pulse point on other people, as well.
30. No one has ever commented on this. In fact, I wear a shirt basically all the time lol
