yāall wanna? ignore the fact? that this guyās roleplaying is on-par with wilbur and tommyās? because you CANNOT look me in the eye and tell me that those presidential decrees and speeches DIDNāT send chills down your spine or make you even the slightest bit intimidated. You CANNOT simply try and say that all schlatt did was dick around and act like a senile old man when he got tubbo EXECUTED in front of BASICALLY THE ENTIRE SERVER and DIDNāT make a joke out of it.
yāall wanna diss him for being silly? then you also have to diss technoblade. they both have their moments where they do silly, ooc stuff when serious moments are going on, but when things start going down, they both deliver their characters perfectly.
DOWN with the idea that Schlatt was just here to cause problems, this man was so good with the plot! are we also going to ignore that him dying by a stroke WASNāT something that was just made up on the day of?
YEAH!! think about it, schlatt has been getting progressively more senile and erratic and such, and his coughing fits have grown worse and worse over the course of his presidency. im being serious!!! if you watch his appearances in order, he GENUINELY acts as if he has an illness that gets worse over time with no treatment!! okay, him dying before he was executed?? that was schlatt giving one, final, monumental middle finger to his enemy ā nobody got the pleasure of ending him, he triggered his illness and did it HIMSELF.
EDIT FROM ABOUT AN HOUR LATER: not to mention his fight with QUACKITY!!!! we also need to talk about alexās god-like roleplaying skills, but this is a schlatt appreciation post!! the way that they use their irl relationship (in which they are amazing friends!!) to build trust so they can have an argument like that ā someone else on tumblr has mentioned this, but do you know the TRUST you need in your rp partner and the RAW TALENT required to have an argument like that thatās IMPROV?!
I!!! WHAT!!! THAT FIGHT WAS SO SCARY!! i genuienly almost closed the video because i felt like i was intruding on a genuine fight between two partners, it was honestly amazing. wh. what. schlatt sounded like,,,,a genuinely abusive, manipulative partner, and yet he also nailed the point that heās just a power-corrupted president man who didnāt care about alex in the first place.
