Ok!!! Ludum dare first day competed and got 6 hrs sleep!!, The Game i have designed and doing the art for based around the theme one room is a 1960′s Game called Insurance Man. you basically have to catch people out on their bullshit or simply just try to get out of paying insurance to people to earn money for your company to be successful,your ultimate goal is to get promoted into higher tiers of insurance my Programmer Aleks has been smashing out the code at an amazing rate with a lot of randomness to make it as repayable as possible, and ive been smashing same art wise. ive set my self a goal to finish a short game over the holidays because all My game ideas develop into bigger idea’s , this is what i made up today
Check it, our game is finished,wasnt my concept or mechanics but that didnt stop me putting in 110% got my lighting nice and put some rotating scifi clock faces on the corners of the hud to bring it more to life and to reinforce the theme and my scifi symbol in the middle of the map to indicate the mode change Wanted to have it show up under each character instead but there wasnt enough time, . Also programed a fire place light to bring more life to the scene, its been a long couple of weeks but its done
More scifi!!!!!! i came up with the idea of this scifi Particle which i drew last night and made today that will show up under the players feet for 1.2 seconds to indicate mode change,Also finished the lighting today plus fixed model texture maps and found our background music, courtesy of ma boi Julian stephens!!
