It always surprises me how many deactivated users there are here. And maybe most of them are the natural consequence of URL-hopping, but beyond those, the ones that intentionally deactivated--just the idea of actively deciding to terminate an account is so foreign to me.

My penguin lived until the day Club Penguin died, immobile in its igloo, decoration among the puffles. My Webkinz stand in rooms which time refuses to allow even the dignity of gathering dust. My footprint stuffs the digital shelves of datacenters for sites and accounts I do not remember making.

I've made a horde of scattered exoskeletons, shells which I cannot even call ghosts because that implies a presence. They are husks. They are archives. They are records. I do not ever consider the mercy of allowing them to die.

If you’re like me and have a large gap under your front door (someone could take a stick and just poke the leaning stick style door jam out), I recommend the Addalock. It’s small, perfect for traveling, and this lock is CRAZY. It’s so simple but the door does not move.

You can’t see it from the other side, either. It also cost about $20, and I can’t recommend it enough. Easy to travel with, too! Great for Air BnBs!

Word: Treasure Planet

Why: So Riku can let Jim know that one day things will get better and that everyone has the potential for greatness, no matter what people think.

World: Brave

Why: So Sora can learn that a Destiny can always be changed if you keep fighting and never forget who’s important to you.

World: Inside Out

Why: So Sora can learn the about the zillion people inside of him and how they all made him who he is.

World: Princess and the Fog

Why: To show Aqua or (Any Org 13 member) that a curse may change you, but you’re still you. It’s not about what you have, but who you are.

World: Moana

Why: To show Kairi that she has what it takes to go on her own adventure. To show Axel there’s always time to be the hero you wanted to be.

Why: So Roxas, Namine, Riku Replica, and Xion can learn that nobody gets left behind…or forgotten.

World: Up

Why: To show Sora and Riku that even though they’re getting older and they will lose the ones they love one day, there will always be another adventure.

the reason why this movie is so underrated is that disney released it almost side by side with the harry potter movie.

treasure planet was a very, very expensive movie that used novel cgi mixed with 2d drawing, took a lot of work and money to create, the script itself was amazing to work with, the characters had arcs and depths, and the story as a whole was compelling and never off.

i don’t think anyone ever figured out why disney wanted it to flop, but the date of release was strictly suicidal for a movie. that’s why it never got the attention it deserved.
