#i had typing classes in year 7 #my typing speed is 90-100 wpm #however i was already a very fast typist by the time i had classes #as i used a computer keyboard a lot before age 12 #so i don't quite type in the way we were taught #e.g. i type h with my left hand and b with my right hand #and i never use my pinkie fingers

What is your #1 video game recommendation

#outer wilds but with caveats #1 - don't look up solutions (or spoilers)#if you're really stuck then ask on the subreddit or discord or a friend who's played it before #the discord in particular is really good at giving hints to nudge you in the right direction #it's a puzzle game with low replayability (unless you're achievement-hunting)#you basically skip a part of the game if you're not figuring out the puzzles yourself #2 - take your time + be curious + read EVERYTHING #and don't skip the tutorial or breeze through it without talking to anyone #i see a lot of streamers and youtubers skim the tutorial area then get really confused and quit the game in frustration #you might feel like you've gotta move fast but trust me when i say THERE IS NO RUSH #play the game at your own speed + take in everything + enjoy the lovely music #3 - sleep on it / come back to it later #outer wilds is a non-linear game #you don't need to keep slamming your head against the wall if you're stuck on a puzzle #either stop playing and let your brain relax for a while #or go explore something else #you may very well read something or discover a mechanic that makes you go “ohhhhh!!!!”#< those are the magical moments of the game #worth mentioning it's basically a roguelike #you will not find a key or a jetpack upgrade!!!!*#i.e. you will never need to “come back later” with upgraded tech/inventory #it's alllllll knowledge baby!#*(okay there arrrrre a few things you can pick up but they're not upgrades or anything) (don't worry about it)#4 - i hope this doesn't put anyone off!#outer wilds is hard to talk about and i know the community can be intimidating to newcomers because of the way we passionately talk about it #it's just that it means so much to so many of us #and because of the low replayability we want other people to have the best experience possible on their first playthrough!#if i may leave you with a favourite quote of mine from the game which i feel is relevant:#“our curiosity goes with you on your journey. you walk in the footsteps of those who came before you–#–and your path guides those who will follow later.“

Shawn almost exclusively wearing Converses and Vans through the tenure of Psych is probably one of his more unhinged decisions. I've worn those shoes my whole life, there is no foot support whatsoever and he's getting chased on a bi-daily basis. Running either for his life or his dignity with no protection between him and the hard cruel ground. I just hope that Gus convinced him into buying orthopedic inserts offscreen bc there is no way it's sustainable to run full tilt in when the only barrier between you and the world is like five millimeters of rubber. Gus is no better though bc what is he doing running from getting shot at in dress shoes?
