two of my mutuals on my main have started posting shit calling people theyfabs and using 'he/they pronouns' as an insult??? to people??? like fuck man, when did yall decide it was cool to be transphobic? i dont care that you're trans too, its fucking transphobic and you sound like a fucking terf. but of course, they also call anyone who says 'hey thats fucked up actually' terfs so. idk.

like it is one thing to be pissed about transmisogyny. you should be. its fucked. we should all be talking about it. but then to use it as an excuse to be massively transphobic yourself? and insisting transmascs aren't oppressed? to insist that we don't face REAL transphobia, and we don't get to talk about the misogyny WE face? it just boggles my brain how you can do and say all that and then try to say you don't just hate trans men. bc you certainly aren't saying anything remotely positive about trans men. in fact, the only positive things ive seen one of them in particular say about trans guys is just how fun we are to fuck. so like. is that not almost identical to what you're experiencing. what is wrong with you.

i really liked these mutuals, they never used to post like this, and the one has been my mutual for years but like. idk i think i need to block them both :(

NGL, the whole "erm do y'all listen to intersex women who were AMAB" silently reinstates the idea that AGAB = objective biological truth— and that it defaults to those assigned male as the authority. It's the same vibe as "intersex conditions are sex specific!!" and then going on to list the same variation as both, but not simultaneously, male and female

I think a lot of people forget, including other intersex individuals, that the same intersex person can be assigned differently depending on the doctor. It's actually incredibly common for intersex individuals to receive conflicting "true sex" results, such as Karl Dürrge (link) who made a living off of being examined

Daily reminder: Transphobia actively contributes to sexism. If you don’t fit the beauty standard and are seen as masculine in any way shape or form, you are seen as transgender and as a “problem”

I think it's incredibly important here to not overlook the fact that she is a Black woman. Transphobia, racism, and sexism overlap significantly because of the incredibly eurocentric beauty standards women are judged on.

I believe that misandry harms ALL women, whether cis, trans, or anything else. It has its roots in misogynistic ideas and pretends to be progressive for women when in reality it’s more likely to tear their lives apart and make them hate themselves. This is what Radfems and TERFs have done to me and my mental health despite my status as a cisgender woman. Those are just my personal thoughts and feelings.

thats very true, there are lots of women, queer and non-queer alike, that are targets of misandry/transmisogyny because they looks too masculine to someones subjective standard, whether it be because theyre too tall or too hairy or prefer towear suits or dont conform to white beauty standards placed on women or are just "attracted to the wrong people/genders"

just as misogyny harms everyone, including men, so too does misandry harm everyone, including women
