Came across this post by @transpanda-1 and had to draw them despite knowing next to nothing about DR ("deltarun-?" no the other one)

Fashion inspiration under the cut

For the guy on the left I went a little old timey, the apron and shirt being inspired by an old advertisments I found on pinterest. Not really accurate for a surgeon but I felt it fit. Similairly the cap he's wearing is based on a photo I found of an old fashioned surgeon's cap.

Kinda worried it's not obvious he's a surgeon because I tried to get funky with it but I hope it still reads well.

For the girl on the right, I am not really the best at fashion design, so I took inspiration from two different people, her blouse's pattern is based on this blouse NotYourMommasHistory wore in this video, and the corset and bow were inspired by outifts okbaddiek posted on her instagram (specifically this one and this one)

We like, DRV3 actually did this idea but in the most evil way possible, to the point we sort of had abandoned this OC and sorta made them Pan Yu and Pan Kokoro? We just sorta abandoned them after Korekiyo existed.

But these are absolutely adorable, oh our god. And the fact you actually got rather close as well??? Look at the only design reference idea we had of them:

God, if we ever revisit them we'd absolutely want them to look like this. You drew them so lovingly 😭😭😭

Like they tried to change Reblogs and people rightfully got up in arms, this is a LOT worse. In order to have access to any sort of thing dubbed mature, and We haveALL seen what they think is mature, Everything from a black and white photo of a black woman's arm, to posts about IUD recalls, to a nude painted by a 17th century artist, to anything involving the word Trans; you have to send your personal information to a third party site that WILL get hacked, and you will be doxxed. And they can say "Oh shit, well it wasn't us who sent your name address and gender identity to Moldovan teenagers, here's a couple extra minutes in the ball pit.

That's bad enough!!!!!!!! But the entire idea of needing permission from state authorities to access anything labeled mature by our friendly AI overlords is some fucking Boll shit. Die Gedenken Sind Frie baby. This is all a reaction to people getting uppity about their lowly lowly rights and is being propped up by the same bad actors tht have made life unlivable. Fuck that shit.

"Well it's only being rolled out in Brazil and UK" Yeah, to start. "Well they're being forced to do this by laws." YOu know it's always really funny when these tech giants (Or whatever you call owning tumblr dot com) get really antsy about laws considering they pick and choose which ones they abide by.

This is a breaking point and it's going to be very interesting to see how we proceed from here.

I'd hate to make this call. But recently, last month, lost the job I had. I have been setting up to find alternate income, but food is running a little low and our food budget is still being held over us and might not last. And I need a bit of help.

Birthday 2026: Greenshift

Something I find completely alien as a concept is to hear someone from a different background pour their heart out about issues affecting them and their community and think, “wow, I don’t want to hear about this, goodbye.”

How could anyone react that way?

It takes such an immense lack of empathy, of compassion…

…but I also think it takes a lack of intelligence.  To have the opportunity to learn more about the world you inhabit and go, “no thanks, I’m good” says to me that individual not only possesses zero drive to gain knowledge, they are willfully so.

Who are these people?

Why are these people?

We can’t be emotionally available all the time, I get it, no one can be permanently set to “on”.  But to ignore the world around you, to disallow challenges to who you are and how you think is to declare yourself a finished product just living out the rest of their days in stasis.

What’s the point of a life like that?  Why are you still here?  To sit back, relax, and declare yourself to have “gotten yours” so no further self improvement or community enrichment matters?

I’m glad those folks have the privilege to live such a life. 

I just wish they wanted the same for everyone else.
