Unfortunately family drama has had me very occupied as of late. It seriously sucks but a few applications would really lift my mood up.

So I just witnessed a very intense episode of Orange Is The New Black... While I obsess over the next episode, send in some questions and apps to keep me busy.

I had a very overwhelming day. Now it's time for me, some warm tea, a slice of cheesecake and Orange Is The New Black. How 'bout you keep me occupied and maybe even make me happy with some apps and questions? We have some great characters open with very diverse biographies.

Zoe Menson was the complete opposite of your every day average all-American sweetheart. She left that job to her sister, Hannah. Instead she opted to take on the role that existed in every family; she was the rebellious one. Or so her mother claimed. The Manson’s were known for their stamina when it came to politics. Ever since she could remember, her family had always been involved in that career field. Zoe was raised surrounded by the women in her life taking on the role of a housewife whilst the men took on the role of the working parent; the routine was something she loved to watch – from a distance.

Zoe was the outcast of the family and that was something she took pride in. She persisted to her family that she would bring a new career field into the family and pursue a career as an oncologist.She learned to ignore her mothers grimacing expression and her fathers nervous stuttering whenever she mentioned change. Zoe had worked her ass off in high school to achieve the honour roll certificate she had under her name. Despite her mothers intentional comments about what an amazing housewife she would be in the near future, Zoe vowed to let her future be her decision. Against her parents wishes, and knowledge, she applied to universities all over the globe; her hopes were set high for the prestigious university, known as Herison. 

Her acceptance to the university had been a shock to both her and her family. She already knew what her decision was going to be. Her mother had given her an ultimatum, if she left for London then her ties with the family would be cut off. Zoe left for England the next day; even joining the Matchmaking program to spite her mother. She did the opposite of what she was told, a bad habit. She hadn’t realized the consequences of joining the Matchmaking program until she arrived – but her naive self was assured their would be someway around her match or maybe even the contract itself.

+ Leo Goodwin | 26 | Matched with Leah Templeton

Leo Goodwin was born into the roughs, also known as the edge in Nottingham. He was an older brother to two sisters; his family lived off of his mothers monthly salary – at least what they would be able to get to before his father would blow it off gambling, everyday was his lucky day, or so he told his family before taking a few hundred. Yet every night was the same, his father would return home reeking of booze with an angry temper, swinging a few hits at his mother. Leo had always defended his mother, only to receive a bruise or two himself. His fathers addiction had gone as bad that he had lost them two months worth of rent and food. It eventually led to the point where he and his family had to sneak out of their apartment starved, unable to pay rent.

His mother was the same, she promised to leave her father but she loved him too much to act upon it. The five of them had a new home every few weeks, leaving every dump hole they had resided in. The starvation and constant fleeing had caught up to them – one of the landlords had sent dangerous men after them. His mother had been shot to death while his father had run off, leaving them with their dead mother. Leo may have been fifteen but he had to step up, for his dead mother and two sisters. He worked a job as a groom, earning a stable amount of cash for him and his sisters. Leo had learned a trick or two from his old man; but he was convinced it was luck that had won him an entire ranch during a game of poker. He had been warn by the ranch owners to release it back to the previous owner but he wasn’t going to budge, especially not when he was growing accustomed to a luxurious life.

Leo was aware that the previous owner was going to spite him back for the ranch. But he had never expected to receive a call informing him that his sisters had been killed. He signed the papers for the ranch back to the former owner that same day, out of fear of his own life. He was the cause of death for his baby sisters, it was something he knew he could never overlook. Leo was dangerously close to falling down the same path his dad had gone through, except he had friends from the ranch that wouldn’t give up on him. They urged him to pick himself up, build a future. Leo recalled once selling a horse to a man who owned Henrison University; a few strings had been pulled and he had  been accepted to the exclusive school. He was entirely unaware of his friends enrolling him into the matchmaking program. Leo hadn’t had the funds to pull himself out of the contract so he had no choice but to agree. The contract was only two years, something he could cope with after the years of torture he had gone through.

+ Mason Wither | 24 | Student at Henrison University 

Mason Wither lived under a risk from the day he was brought into the world. His father was a dirty man who had been involved with the black market; he was a puppet on a string to them, performing their dirty work for vast amounts of cash. Mason’s mother had fled a few months after his birth, unable to cope with the pressure of being associated with a man who put her in danger. Mason grew up in a world surrounded by embezzlers, mobs, and wealthy men who took drastic actions to get what they want. His father was the go-to man for all of them. Mason had even witnessed murder at the mere age of five, when his father had shot a man who had traded secrets with authorities for cash.

Growing up surrounded by such violence and terror had an impact on him. Mason grew up home schooled. He was awkward whenever surrounded by kids his own age. Mason had never been able to make so much as a single friend, or get a girlfriend – but even if he had, he was positive his father wouldn’t approve of any relationships. The loneliness was something he learned to accept, using alcohol and drugs as a way to fill his the empty void in his life. His father had decided Mason would follow in his footsteps, a future which Mason had no say in. Mason’s training began at thirteen. By nineteen, he was growing dangerously close to being better than his dad at his own job. He was cleaner in his tasks, and far more slick then his father had ever been. 

Though he vowed to stay away from the risqué jobs as long as he could, his vow had to be broken early when his dad was arrested. Mason had no means to afford his fathers expensive bail. He saw no other option then to carry on with his fathers business – but he was going to do it differently. Mason wouldn’t murder, unless it was in self defense. He had been in luck when a former employee his father worked for had recommended him to a man who happened to own the largest manufacturing company in England. Henry Goodwin had hired him, giving him the simple job of pretending to be a student at Henrison University and look after his daughter, Allison Goodwin. He was to keep his identity protected at all times and simply befriend her, or more, if necessary. Mason agreed to take on the job for a few months, until he made enough to bail his father out. Little did he know Allison Goodwin was no simple task and Mason was just going to have to discover that out for himself.

She was constantly reminded by her parents that if she were to commit so much as a single mistake, her reputation - or more importantly, her reign as princess and eventually queen - would be in jeopardy. Years of virtuality, obedience and constant deferentially had finally paid off when she was finally crowned the princess of Greece.

Leah took her position seriously. She did everything that would be expected of a princess. She married at the young age of twenty-one to a man who came from a respectable family with a lot of money and an impeccable reputation. Her marriage to Louis, who was crowned the prince of Greece, was all that he was – dull and boring. For the sake of her crown, she kept her wild desires hidden away and attempted to satisfy Louis in every way possible. She did everything that was expected of her, just like always. Leah was aware that her husband craved her sexually but she found herself constantly holding back. One day, however, she vowed to try for him, to learn for the sake of her reputation. But that same day, she hadn’t expected to turn her television on to see pictures of her husband in a hotel room with another women. The pictures spread like wildfire. Even then, she did what seemed fitting to a princess and forgave him. He denied her forgiveness. He forfeited his crown, divorced Leah, and run off with the woman from the hotel room.

Leah was a joke. Since the world didn’t know the truth about her divorce, the blame had been put on her for the end of the royal marriage. False scandal after false scandal showed up with Leah as the headline until eventually, the crown was taken away from her. The life she spent years building so carefully was over. That was when she finally decided to do something for herself. To the dismay of her parents, Leah enrolled herself at Henrison University. Joining the matchmaking program was a decision based on impulse. She craved adventure and happiness, and something told her that Henrison University would give her just that. A new start in a new country was exactly what she needed.

Aiden Fitzgerald wasn’t a man of many words. He was a stern, hard-headed man and had been like that for as long as he could remember. Just like any other kid who had lose their mother and father, his parents’ deaths had a heavy influence on him. They passed away in a car crash that was Aiden’s fault, much to his own guilt. He had been continuously calling them, begging them for permission to attend a party. They had been paying more attention to his call than they were to the truck that had driven into them. His older brother had taken a week off after the accident, and even offered Aiden a way out. Aiden, however, couldn’t leave with the brother of his that was known for his recklessness. Not when his father’s company was going to be handed down to him in just over a year.

He had a year to mature and learn everything he could about being the CEO of a company that provided over fifty percent of England with life insurance. Once he turned eighteen, he wasn’t welcomed into the business with open arms, but rather grimacing faces. His father’s employees believed he was entirely unfit for the job; they fought a long, excruciating battle to keep Aiden from remaining in the CEO position, taking it so far that it had become a case. The court had decided on a reasonable offer: Aiden would be granted a trial position as CEO, and he would be examined closely during said trial position. It was just his luck when his reckless brother, Henry, came to town. In the past, Aiden was known to follow his brother’s example, but this time, he vowed it would be different. He had people all over England waiting for him to slip. Henry always got what he wanted, though, and convinced Aiden to have a few drinks. Which led to a few more drinks. And a few more drinks. And last but not least, a trip to the local strip club.

His luck took a toll for the worst when he walked into his office the next day and found some officials discussing a picture of him that had leaked - a picture of him grinding on a few strippers. His CEO title was revoked. Aiden blamed himself and his brother for the fall out. He had nothing but a big, fat trust fund, so he did what any rich kid would do - took advantage of it. Aiden burnt through his money -  traveling from city to city; using women for nothing more than pleasure; and living a luxurious life. He spent years living a life that kept him both empty and satisfied. That was, until he saw Henry, from a distance in Rio, partying as usual. Reality hit him square in the face, and he returned to England, wanting no personality links to his brother. He needed to clean his image up and get his company back. His publicist offered up the idea of attending Henrison University to earn the degree he had never gotten. She also decided it was best that she enroll him in the matchmaking program, too. They both knew it would be positive for his image. Aiden blindly agreed to the contract, reminding himself whoever his match was would be nothing more than a roommate.

Henry Fitzgerald had always been a reckless and mischievous boy. He wasn’t the cliché rebellious guys who had a brooding, devastating backstory that explained their reckless behaviour. He had no backstory, he simply enjoyed the lifestyle of going against everything prim and proper. His behaviour was highly spiteful to his parents, that only satisfied him more on.He was man who could never commit to anything. Many saw it as a habit that erupted from something deep within him but he just saw it as it was, he couldn’t find something exhilarating enough to keep his interest. His family saw him as the big disappointment, turning their attention to hatching his brother, Aiden, into a pompous ass whose ego would eventually take over the family business. 

Henry had decided to leave his parents home, and England, the day he turned eighteen. He claimed the only reason he was staying back was for his baby brother, at least that’s what he told his family. The fear of living and dying alone had held him back. His parents death had been unexpected but it was something he had coped with through the use of his favourite brand of booze. He used it as an excuse to finally take off, offering his baby brother a way out with him. But Aiden denied his offer so Henry took off, travelling the world with the company of his trust fund. He found many ways to satisfy himself, using willing women and exhilarating adventures.  

He had nothing to return to in England. Aiden would never take him in after the night they spent partying that led to his baby brother being stripped of his job. The life he lived was satisfying for the first few years, he enjoyed waking up to a sunset with a women who would satisfy his sexual desires. But the exhilarating spontaneous life he once loved had become a bore. It was a surprise to find out Aiden was finally going to earn the degree he never had – but it was the turning point for him. He followed his brother to Henrison, enrolling himself into the school, and into the Matchmaking program. He craved stability with a women who would keep him on his toes, challenge him. Something told him the program would give him just that.

But eventually her maids had to return to their work and her brother either returned to his hectic schedule or his bitch of a girlfriend. Allison’s life wasn’t as ideal as everyone put it to be; she did have a trust fund with a few millions and a house large enough to provide shelter to half of the homeless people in London but that hadn’t even gone close to her life being considered ideal. 

Despite everyones beliefs of her being a fragile girl who would most likely live off of her trust fund, Allison was an ambitious and strong-minded person. Allison had grown an interest in the family business as a teenager, she wanted to see her name printed amongst her parents on newspapers. But she also knew her father wouldn’t accept her offer to work amongst him. He had his eyes set on her big brother, Jackson, to take over the business. Allison had always had life plan for herself, graduate from the elite prep academy she attended and then move on to Oxford University and complete her degree in business.

But when Lucas announced he would leave for a rehabilitation centre for his alcohol addiction, her father had stepped up and prohibited it since, of course, it would ruin the image the Goodwin’s had. Instead he took both Allison and Lucas’s future into his own hands and enrolled them into England’s exclusive and elite facility, Henrison University. Allison’s opinion had been to put a halt. She had no choice but to attend Henrison University with her brother and to take part in the matchmaking program. Allison was a dynamite just waiting for her match to set her off.
