idk i guess i just think it's fucked that women are being conditioned to ignore the very real danger males pose to us. males keep pretending that men are innocent humans just trying to live their lives, and women being wary of them are paranoid weirdos who would benefit mentally from not being so scared all the time.

let's call it what it is: creating easy victims. women have gotten too vigilant in recent decades, and males must do whatever they can to increase their supply of vulnerable women. so what do they do? they use manipulation to claim that women not wanting to be around strange men is actually a bad thing for women. they weaponize female empathy by arguing that vigilance is a result of bigotry.

men are human, too. not every man is out to get you, and having that fear means you're unhealthily paranoid. women attack and rape other women all the time, but nobody says anything about that. oh, you don't want to see a stranger's penis? go to therapy and deal with your rape trauma, you puritan. penises are not dangerous, and saying otherwise makes you a bioessentialist transphobe. genitals do not rape people, people do.

they all speak the same way: buzzwords, blame, loaded accusations. in order for these arguments to make sense, they must ignore the very real statistics, personal experiences, and trauma that women suffer. they will not care if women are more frequently victimized, because that's the entire goal.

the amount of homophobia a bi woman will face will depend on who she dates and how she presents herself in the moment. lesbians will face it all the time and will have no way around it.

heterosexual and bisexual women forget that they don't face as much oppression as lesbians (lesbians are not oppressing you by excluding you from their spaces). bisexual women fail to realize that their level of oppression depends heavily on who they date. biphobia is real, but it's primarily about whether someone believes that you can date both sexes, not whether lesbians recognize you as a member of the community when you're in a long-term heterosexual relationship. the primary issue bi people face is homophobia, and a masc bisexual woman who exclusively dates women will be leveled with infinitely more homophobia than a fem presenting bisexual woman who has only ever dated men.

bisexual women outnumber lesbians by at least double, likely four times or more. bi women are not oppressed by that much smaller group. that isn't how that works. (and as a staunchly female exclusive bi woman, i've had no issues befriending lesbians and being a part of primarily lesbian spaces btw 🤷). we don't relate to male-partnered women. we want our own spaces. much like women want their own spaces.

and if you hate that enough to hate Those Mean lesbians, to complain about how lesbians act and how exclusive they are, about how they want their own separate spaces where they don't have to interact with male-lovers, maybe you're not that much of a feminist to begin with!
