Tragically as of an hour or so ago at 10pm here, my cat named Sonic who was born in September 2011 has sadly died. He had been poorly the past few months. I apologize in advance for how slow this will make me (then I already am) towards getting anything done on this blog I owe and thank you for your understanding.

Sonic was feeling different than he usually did. Recent events involving those important to him possibly nearly dying had made him reflect. Tomorrow is not promised, gotta make the most of things.

In response to his reflection, the hedgehog had traveled to the outskirts of Station Square in order to visit a certain someone, Amy. He knocked on her door and waited to find out if she was home.

"This is new." Sonic said after looking around the world he was in that wasn't his own that seemed to completely lack humans and just have anthropomorphic beings. Himself and his ally Shadow had traveled to this world because Docter Eggman had decided to invade it. They intended to ruin his plans and stop him.

First they'd have to find him, so they split up. While the hedgehog hadn't encountered his arch-nemesis yet, he had encountered his robots. He destroyed them without hesitation in order to protect the locals. That's when he spotted what seemed to be a rabbit in a cop uniform trying to do the same. That didn't work out.

He saw the woman get struck upwards towards outer space at an insane speed. Not more insane than as fast as he could run though. He wasted no time charging and running up the nearest building, jumping and catching her in his arms. He then ran back down the building and stopped on the ground. "Are you okay?"

[Meanwhile, somewhere elsewhere in this world..]

"How strange. All the residents here seem to love cosplay." Shadow said in reaction to this world that wasn't his own, dismissing all the residents attire as simply costumes. Like Sonic, the hedgehog didn't hesitate to destroy Eggman's robots and protect the locals. Though he didn't interact with anyone, he just moved on.

While he didn't find Eggman, he did spot Metal Sonic and Metal Sonic 3.0 terrorizing residents of this world. Seeing both of them wasn't a good sign, because that meant Eggman Nega might be here as well, Eggman's descendant from two hundred years in the future. And they were working together instead of not getting along at all.

The odds seemed stacked against him, but he was the ultimate life form! He wouldn't back down from what he had to do! While Metal Sonic and Metal Sonic 3.0 had a moment of bickering, he disappeared and reappeared between them with his emerald in his hand. "Chaos control!" He said, shortly followed by. "Chaos blast!"

"Thank you for getting me out of there!" Everything had happened so quickly that Draculaura didn't have time to react. Her little wings flapped about as she descended down onto the grassy ground.

"What in the world is going on here?"

"Of course, it's just what I do." Sonic said in response to the other's thanks aimed towards him. A kind smile present on his features until she asked what was going on, then his face became serious as he prepared to explain the situation.

"Just the usual. A lonely old man that looks like an egg trying to take over multiple worlds with his robots. Typical Monday to Friday, for me at least."
