but really if you *were* going to do ulder/zevlor why not have him escape in act 2... horror of being lost and stumbling around in moonrise, runs into zevlor, maybe helping him escape too, they team up to escape together. recognizing each other from the sieges and battles in avernus. feeling a little freer on the road to baldur's gate because neither of them is a grand duke or hellrider, they're just two old guys on the run.
