This is OLDDDD, but still a Favorite of mine. It’s the first time in a long time I shaded in/rendered a full digital piece, playing with lighting. It’s definitely flawed, looking at it now lol, but I’m very proud of it regardless.

For Context: The Virus is attacking Bender both in his head and in his metal body, trying to possess him to take over his physical being.

When it does that, there’s red glitches surrounding him, but I didn’t draw that here, and I should have. At the time (this was illustrated in 2023), I was still brain storming about The Virus & was uncertain. I desperately need to design & write Virus symptoms. (you’d think from all these years, that I would have already…)

Anyway, unfortunately, Rick has tried (with science) several times to get rid of The Virus, and can’t, so he basically has to watch Bender deteriorate through it until it’s over. Think a Robot malfunctioning, going ape shit, and you can’t do anything about it.
