any time where the 'LGBT community' at large stands to gain from something, whereas trans women in general stand to lose from it, is not simply something that occurs as a result of transmisogynistic power structures, it itself constitutes a transmisogynistic power structure. this is true for everything from societal-scale 'drop the T' movements to specific instances of 'being a trans kid means being seen as a tomboy and wanting to be seen as a degendered threat teehee' rhetoric.
