There´s a current worldwide push towards conservatism and right-wing policies. Argentina is certainly not the only country that's elected a right-wing lunatic.
Argentina is, however, the only country I see that´s being said to have "hitler molecules", an "Israel-like spirit", or similar nonsense from French people, from Germans, from USAmericans, and so on and so forth.
The people from the countries directly responsible for the genocide in Gaza are using us as a scapegoat for their hatred towards Latinos (though that's for another time). Javier Milei is a disgusting worthless turd and a motherfucker who should be publicly executed for his crimes.
However, I have yet to see one (1) so-called European or USAmerican progressive in SM mention Milei even ONCE. They go against the people. Not against his voters, not against white Argentines in particular, not against his policies.
They call us, ALL OF US, the most unimaginable things. From death wishes to idiotic political shit. I've seen one person say we deserve an economic embargo(?) because we won a football match.

Did you know that the US has a history of supporting coups in South America, including in Argentina? Plan Condor introduced dictatorships all over the continent in the 1970s, and in Argentina this meant over thirty thousand people murdered by the state. People whose corpses have yet to be recovered. Pregnant women stolen from their homes, their babies born in clandestine detention centers and sold to rich families. Women raped in these centers. Men and women tortured and then killed. Children, now adults, who have no idea who their "adoptive" family truly is.
Did you know that this wasn't a one time thing? As recently as 2015, Cambridge Analytica, the same Facebook/Meta/Zuckerberg scandal that revealed involvement in spreading fake news and turning voters in favor of Trump, was doing the exact same thing in our elections, turning voters in favor of Mauricio Macri, another right wing candidate who, by the way, also won the election.
(Did you know that the last two times a right wing candidate won in Argentina were the only times where we had to hold a ballotage since the system was established, because votes in the first round were not enough to elect these candidates?)
Did you know that worthless zionist Javier Milei is currently selling our natural resources, giving up our freshwater sources to Israhell via deals with Mekorot, changing laws that protect our land in order to favor neo-colonising type of practices, in which foreigners can own and dispose of huge portions of land here, to use and abuse their resources?
Have you got any idea what the people, the common people, here are like, or did you see a fake statistic in the CIA factbook that claims 97% of the population is white, and you just rolled with it?

(And a PS, because I can see the well ackshuallys coming: the history of Argentina is no more and no less bloody than the history of every other Latin American country. We all share the same roots as ex-colonies of Spain or Portugal. All of our countries exist thanks to the genocide of our indigenous populations and the enslavement of Black people.
And even then, our histories are not as bloody as those of France, or Germany, or the US.)
