“Liam!”

Liam looked up at the scared call coming from the living room. He exchanged a glance with his mom, who just shrugged and continued to make sandwiches. Liam put down the knife he’d been using to cut said sandwiches and went into the living room.

He choked back a laugh when he saw three kids crowded around Theo’s legs, and the chimera staring at them in horror. Liam crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the door jamb. “Problem?”

Theo looked up, eyes wide. “Get them off me!” he hissed, then yelped as one of the kids started to try and climb him.

Liam bit his lip in an attempt not to laugh. “What’s wrong, Theo?” he teased. “Afraid of a few kids?”

“No!” Theo protested, then made a ‘gahh!’ noise as one wrapped her arms around his legs, throwing him off balance. “Just help me!”

“I don’t know,” Liam said in mock-consideration. “The ladies love a guy who’s good with kids.”

“Good thing I’m dating you then!” Theo snapped, and immediately all three kids froze.

“You’re dating Liam?” one of the girls asked, wrinkling her nose. “Why?”

Liam’s jaw dropped. “Ana!”

“What?” Ana shrugged.

Theo snorted. “Believe me, I wish I knew.”

“Do you guys kiss?” another girl asked curiously.

Theo smirked. “All the time. We do a lot more than kiss though.”

The girls gasped. “Like hold hands and hug and cuddle?” Ana asked, eyes twinkling with delight.

Liam gave Theo a warning look, but Theo ignored him. “Yep. We love to cuddle. Especially at night when it’s cold.”

Liam took a deep breath and went back into the kitchen. Picking up the knife, he continued to cut sandwiches, picturing them as Theo’s stupid smirking face.

It helped a little.

A/N: I saw the chance, and I took it. I love writing fics with kids to be honest haha. And I imagine that Theo would be scared of them at first but once they found a common interest he’d be chill about it. Liam is eternally suffering. Anyways, hope you enjoyed it, friend! Stiles, Derek, Ethan, Jackson, Kate, all played by actors who either have incredibly busy schedules (DOB), left the show when they decided they were good and ready (Hoechlin, Carver) or had significant drama surrounding their departure (Haynes), but somehow, TPTB made it work when it came to getting them back for the final season.

Braeden, Kira, Danny, all played by actors who have been vocal about being willing to work around the show’s schedule to do what it takes to be a part of it, were written out as a narrative or executive choice rather than because it was what the actor wanted, and consistently and enthusiastically promoted the show on their own time or even traveled to cons on their own money, but somehow, TPTB just couldn’t find a way to get them back for the final season.

Totally weird that the first group is all white actors and all the actors in the second group are PoC.

No matter what happens, Malia is Stiles’ main girl and Stiles is Malia’s main man. They loved each other despite their worst flaws. They didn’t care about the possible underlying violence within each other. They didn’t care about each other’s disregard for the rules. Both of these characters would set the world on fire to protect their friends and each other. Nobody else gets them like they get each other.

And this is why the idea that Stiles and Lydia love each other bothers me. Lydia hasn’t spent enough time around Stiles to truly know and understand who Stiles really is. What would she have done after finding out Stiles killed Donovan? Would she be comfortable letting Stiles be the little spoon? Is Lydia Martin the type to kiss someone before they brush their teeth? Would she be willing to kill to save Stiles? Because Malia would. She would wrap herself around Stiles so he can sleep comfortably. She would kill for him. She would kiss him with his morning breath. She didn’t care about Donovan.

And then on the other side, I understand that Malia is still important while single. But who is gonna be that person to remind her she’s not a monster? Who is gonna calm her down without reprimanding her like a child? Who is gonna accept her animalistic nature and find it endearing? Who is gonna see her as she is and still treat her like she is the gentlest person in the world? Because Stiles did. He discovered her missing persons case and he woked with his friends to find this wild animal. A literal wild animal and he treated her like a damn princess.

Just… ugh these characters are perfect for each other. So much more than just some high stakes dramatic music kissing in the moonlight bullshit. But a real relationship with real drama and real ups and downs between two extremely flawed and fucked up people who really understand and feel comfortable around each other.
