I need a bot to feel gut wrenching despair over losing their human friend to old age specifically because the war has caused them to forget that that can happen. I need a bot who’s so used to their friends and family dying as war casualties that they’ve internalised and come to terms with the fact that “they fought their hardest”, or “they were a hero”, or even “they sacrificed themselves to help us”. But none of that applies here. You cannot fight time. You cannot be a hero against age itself. You are no sacrifice for others.
You die old and happy. That should be the best way to go. That should be the easiest death to grieve. Not for them though. They cannot rationalise it. You weren’t in danger and you still died. Their processor cannot handle it. You should still be here. You should still be with them. You weren’t taken away like everyone else, but you did leave. You are gone. And there is no coming back. And they just… crumble because of it.
Decades. Parked by your grave whenever they get the chance. Almost waiting, as if they think you’ll stick your hand out of the dirt one day and squeal that you “got them”, that you “pranked them good!”.
They did all the right things, after all. They protected you from danger. They kept a smile on your face. They cherished their time with you. That should mean that you stay, right?
That should mean that you stay.
Why didn’t you stay?

Most overworked Government employee to be honest, I’m giving him Y/n as a bestie.
on the topic of bumblebees egregious monopoly over the transformers franchise- if any critique i have of any other starscream ship comes across as hypocritical because im a starbee truther just know i do not care because, unlike many other transformers, bumblebee can afford therapy for any psychological damage starscream causes him due to how merchandised he is.
starscreams mean to windblade once? call the authorities. get him away from her. starscream shoots bumblebee point blank? bumblebee is fine. bumblebee can use the money he gets from being at three theme parks across the nation to fix the hole in his head. he’s fine. windblade is experiencing frankensteins monster levels of abandonment with being a fan created bot, used for a little less then a decade, and then not being featured in anything prominently since. bumblebee is a popcorn bucket, a soda sipper, and an animatronic dj for a ride at a theme park. windblade is also at one of the theme parks but you cannot sip soda out of her head. do you know who’s head you can drink soda out of? that’s right it’s bumblebee. you can buy him from any major retailer right now. you cannot avoid or escape him. if anything subjecting him to a fate with starscream is what he deserves for being a marketable monstrosity.
FIVE separate popcorn buckets. and they’re all ugly as shit godbless. greedy ass bug. he deserves that egotistical jet (derogatory)
More than "here in the Southern Hemisphere we have inverted seasons :)" thing, which is TECHNICALLY true, I would go a step further and encourage to think about that "much of the world does not exactly has a spring-summer-fall-winter season sequence as they show in cartoons"
I will scream about this to anyone who listens forever. AUSTRALIA DOES NOT HAVE "ENGLISH SEASONS BUT BACKWARDS" and the insistence that it does creates a massive layer of alienation from the natural world.
I never really realised how much difference it makes until I went to England and realised that here the change of seasons is an obvious, visible, physical change in the world. Like, everything REALLY IS orange and foggy in autumn! In spring there are flowers EVERYWHERE, so much more than any other season, and the trees really do have all blossom and no leaves. Even if it doesn't snow, in winter there's frost all the time and the trees are bare and the sky is visibly greyer all the time. You don't need to be told "this date is the first day of spring", you can SEE IT (although this is getting way messier and less precise due to climate change).
By contrast, most places in Australia the seasons we're taught feel like arbitrary categories - and is it any surprise considering they're colonial constructs? Orange-leaved autumn and blossom-covered spring is a cartoon stereotype with no relevance on a continent where ALL NATIVE TREES ARE EVERGREEN!! Snowy winters are a joke in the desert, and even sunny summers don't ring particularly true considering that much of the country is in the tropics, where summer means monsoons - not that I've ever seen the concept that WE HAVE A MONSOON SEASON taught at an Australian school.
Most Indigenous nations around Australia had six or more seasons, revolving around wet and dry times as much as hot and cold, and marked by the appearances of certain native animals and flowers. Schools need to start teaching the real seasons, and explaining that climate cycles are too complex to generalise globally, or else we will keep raising generations who view the natural world as hostile and unpredictable and climate predictions as generally irrelevent and frequently wrong - and I'm sure I don't need to spell out why that's a problem in the era of climate crisis.
i want to add that 40% of the world's population lives in the tropics, and the 4 season model just doesn't make much sense for a lot of places in there. usually it's just the wet season/monsoon season and the dry season. it's often hot year round.
the 4 season model as you and i know it is a european invention, though 4 season models aren't unique to europe! most notably china has the same type of season subdivision.
in general the way humans define seasons is largely subjective and varies across cultures. the one you were taught is not at all universal!

Dear local buisness,
If you cannot be bothered to put any time or effort into somthing as important as your logo or advertising, instead getting ai to make it for you:
Why would I expect that you've put any effort into your product or service?

It took Diane a while to muster up the courage to ask Danse for a tattoo. He has a machine rigged up by the afternoon and not long after he starts on her request. She passes time by asking about the stories behind his many tattoos, and he happily tells them.
@autumnrose40 had the brilliant idea of Sole asking a heavily tattooed Danse for a tattoo and I just had to draw it!!
