you don't "hate kids," you hate being forced into a caretaking role.
you don't "hate kids," you hate censorship passed off as family values.
you don't "hate kids," you hate the constrictiveness of the nuclear family.
you don't "hate kids," you're just not used to occupying fully age diverse spaces so you're not used to the noise or the many different kinds of needs.
you don't "hate kids," most public spaces just aren't built for kids, and so the few kids you see are always uncomfortable and distressed.
you don't "hate kids," you hate the intense social rules assigned to kids and anyone who interacts with kids.
You don't "hate kids," you hate how society reproduces its most restrictive elements and how kids are powerless to resist it.
iot widowed dove is on pluto and that scene between favor and rowdy in the saloon is still one of the most emotionally-fraught moments they've had, v subdued in tone considering how loud and volatile they can be but more significant bc of that... favor saying "is that what i've been to you? a wet nurse?" and then he and rowdy kind of gaze at each other... actually so much to read between the lines in that whole exchange.... favor saying he's not going to throw away all the time and training he's spent on rowdy when it's clear what he wants to say is he's not going to throw away what they mean to each other. how fond he looks of rowdy, still trying to convince him to come back w no hesitation despite all his cold promises earlier... rowdy hurt and frustrated, feeling pushed into a corner...
also the pluto subs transcribed favor telling rowdy "i'm not wrong in wanting what's best for my men" into "what's best for my man" and im glad pluto and i both knew what favor really meant 🙂↕️
of course it had to be on lined paper.

did tumblr delete my post
yeah, they did. I wrote up a big long post about the Trevor Project and the 12 hour charity livestream I'm participating in right now, and they deleted it. twice. We've raised over $50,000 for a legitimate charity but because it helps trans kids it gets deleted from the site
please share this if you can. so many amazing people have come together to make this happen.
if I make these links clickable they'll get deleted so please copy and paste them:

I cant believe this tweet is how I find out
now all the things you guys have told me about american high schools are starting to make sense
holy shit.
You're not really supposed to say it this way, because its considered crass, but here in the US children are culturally and legally considered essentially the property of their parents.
Note that its considered more crass to point this out than it is to treat children as property in the first place.
