Malik bin Dinar (رحمه الله) said:
“Allah the Almighty has not inflicted punishment on a heart more severely than to take away modesty (Hayaa) from it.”
[تنبيه المغترين , page 186]
adonis, tr. by khaled mattawa
"I pondered over the best Du'a, [and discovered] that it must be asking Allah the strength to do that what pleases Him. I found this Du'a in the Fatiha:
"اياك نعبد و اياك نستعين
- We only worship you and only ask you for help."
- Ibn Taymiyyah
As quoted in Madarij al-Salikin
some days i’m healing and some days i break again
Fudayl bin Iyadh رحمه الله said:
"When Allah loves a servant He increases his grief and whenever He dislikes a servant He expands his worldly possessions."
(سِيــــرْ أعــلام النُبـــَلاَء ٣٣٨/٤)
Sunan at Tirmidhi 2488
"قد يستغرق الامر عامًا وقد يستغرق يومًا ولكن ما هو مقدر لك سيصل اليك دائمًا"
"It might take a year. It might take a day, but what's meant to be will always find a way."
O Allāh, have mercy on our dead and the deceased muslims and make their dwelling place a garden from the gardens of paradise.
"Every breath we take is taking us closer to death. The time we spend in this world is short, the time we are held in our graves is long, and the punishment for following our lowly desires is calamitous."
- Ibn Jawzi

“Dear brother. if you don’t have money don’t be shy; don’t leave your family without food, please take what you need for your children from the offered greens since My provision and your Provision is from Allah”
“Love isn’t something natural. Rather it requires discipline, concentration, patience, faith, and the overcoming of narcissism. It isn’t a feeling, it is a practice.”
— The Art of Loving, Erich Fromm (b. 23 March 1900)
May Allah forgive us all on this holy month of Ramadan! May our souls crave prayer and connection to our Lord and may our hearts turn to the poor and destitute with open arms and charity. 🤲❤️🕋
Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the standard ˹to distinguish between right and wrong.
So whoever is present this month, let them fast. But whoever is ill or on a journey, then ˹let them fast˺ an equal number of days after Ramadan.
Allah intends ease for you, not hardship, so that you may complete the prescribed period and proclaim the greatness of Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful.
— Quran, 2:185 🕊
