The Phoenix Lights
On March 13, 1997 a series of optical phenomenon occurred in the skies over the U.S. states of Arizona and Nevada, and the Mexican state of Sonora. Unidentified flying objects and various light formations scattered the skies. There were two distinct events involved in the incident: a triangular formation of lights, and a series of stationary lights seen in the Phoenix area. The video and photographic evidence of the event have been studied by many scientists. It is widely considered the best photographic evidence of a UFO. The intensity of the lights appear to shift from very bright to dim, as each object moves it becomes indiscernible to the camera. The governor of Arizona, Fife Symington, witnessed the event and became convinced it was an unidentified object. After the incident the United States government released a statement claiming that the lights were test flares dropped by a A- 10 Warthog. This explanation does not add up for educated viewers of the tapes and has caused much speculation claiming a cover up. (Source)
Devil’s Den, Gettysburg National Battlefield
With 51,000 casualties, was the site of the Civil War’s bloodiest battle. Reports of ghostly soldiers are common here, especially at Devil’s Den, a boulder-strewn hill that was used by artillery and infantry. The most common sighting is that of a barefoot ghost wearing a floppy hat who is known as “The Hippie” and is thought to be a member of the 1st Texas Infantry. Those who have met the spirit report that he always says the same thing while pointing toward Plum Rum: “What you’re looking for is over there.” Those who claim to have photographed the ghost say that his image doesn’t appear in pictures, and Devil’s Den is known for causing cameras and other electronic equipment to malfunction. Magnetic Hill is a very special tourist attraction located near Leh in Ladakh, India. When you reach the hill, follow the directions on the yellow sign telling you to park your vehicle in the white box marked with white paint on the road.
When you switch the vehicle off and leave it in neutral, the car seemingly moves downhill. No big deal but then, after being prompted to turn your car in the opposite direction, the car seemingly moves uphill! Rumor has it the area has extreme magnetic properties, strong enough to pull cars uphill. In reality, the shape of the surrounding landscape and mountainous horizon obscures the observer’s usual reference points and creates the illusion. (Source)
MOST TERRIFYING STALKER STORY I'VE EVER READ
Honestly, what the hell with some people.
written by reddit user sweetmercy
A week or so before my 10th birthday, I walked to the corner store with a $5 bill and picked up a jar of Ragu for my mom. On my way home, a man I’d never seen before fell in step with me and began talking.
"Hi!" he said, cheerfully. "My name is Dr. Ramsey. I’m a pediatrician. Do you know what a pediatrician is?"

Owlman
Terrified urban explorers wandering through abandoned hospital were ambushed by a prankster in creepy bird costume. This stunt was set up by Scottish filmmaker Lawrie Brewster in Kirkaldy, Fife. The production team set up seven hidden cameras to record peoples’ reactions. (Source & Video)

Urban Legends: The Death Crash
According to legend, in the 1930s there was a terrible accident on Brubaker Bridge in Ohio. 5 cars crashed into each other on the bridge and all the people in the vehicles were killed on impact.
Because the cars crashed in such a remote area, nobody saw it happen and it remained undiscovered for a whole day. Eventually, after nightfall, a neighboring farmer was driving his tractor down the road and discovered the crash. he immediately alerted the police.
When the ambulance came, the workers found a total of 12 dead bodies in the wreck. The bodies were all put into ambulances and brought back to a local funeral home, where they were all identified and given proper burials. After such a tragic accident, the town was eager to try and put the death crash behind them.
However, shortly after the accident, the farmer who originally discovered the bodies claimed that every time he crossed Brubaker Bridge, his tractor would suddenly stop for no reason. Then he would hear 13 loud knocks, followed by a strange gurgling and hissing sound.
Other locals told the same story. They said they would be driving down the road and their cars would suddenly stall as they were crossing Brubaker Bridge. This was always followed by someone or something knocking 13 times on the car. And then, right before the car started up again, gurgling and a hissing noise was heard.
The farmer began to wonder if the ambulance workers had really recovered all the victims of the death crash. He searched the area around the bridge and eventually wandered into the woods by the side of the road. What he found there chilled him to his very soul.
Sitting propped up against a tree, covered in snow, was the dead body of a man. He was frozen stiff. His arms had been eaten away by black bears, leaving only bloody stumps. His mouth was hanging open and his tongue was missing.
The farmer had found the 13th victim of the crash. The man had been thrown out of the car in the accident and wound up lying injured by the side of the road. He had been dragged into the woods by black bears who devoured his arms and tongue. The ambulance sirens scared off the black bears and the man was still alive when the ambulance workers were taking the dead bodies out of the cars. He had been trying to call for help but his arms and tongue were gone so nobody could hear him.
Today, locals still believe that the ghost of the 13th victim still haunts Brubaker Bridge, stopping any car that dares to cross his path. The ghost beats on the side of the car with the bloody stumps that were once his arms and then tries to call for help. But all that comes out are hisses and gurgles because he doesn’t have a tongue. The majority of creepy metallic noises in sci-fi or horror movies are made by an instrument called a Waterphone. You can hear what it sounds like here.
The Iceland Worm Monster
Also known as The Lagarfljótsormur/Lagarfljót worm, the Iceland Worm Monster is an Icelandic lake cryptid. It is very similar to the Lochness Monster in legend. It can supposedly get upto 300ft long. People have claimed to see the cyrptid on land and in water.
The video I linked above was taken by a farmer called Hjörtur Kjerúlf , who captured the giant, icy snake swimming in the Jökulsá í Fljótsdal river, which empties into Lake Lagarfljót.
