Lately I've been feeling like I'm in a bit of a rut.
Drawing has started to feel like a chore when it used to be something I really looked forward to. That "looking forward to it" feeling is why I started and continued doing Upside Down Grin for as long as I have. This past October 3rd was its 4th year - which, having written that out, kind of blows my mind; My webcomic is old enough to go to preschool and draw on the walls. That said, I want to take a step back from this format we've all become used to and reflect on what I'm doing here. I have so many original character designs I've created over the past four years. I feel like there's the potential to hone in on some of my favorites and start publishing a webcomic with dialogue, narrative, and recurring characters. It's something I'll have to explore on my own at my own pace. It's always been a treat meeting people who enjoy what I do on here, and I hope you stick around for whatever comes next.
