I never saw someone mention this or if it’s important but it’s Taylor Swift so I guess everything is important. Do you think it is a coincidence that in Anti-Hero the “public” Taylor is drinking more than “private” one. First, public Taylor makes private one drink and she throws up, then where they are both drinking public Taylor has 4 empty shot glasses in front of her but private one only has 2?

Thank you for pointing this out bc i never noticed it WAS different 2 times in the video. So at mark 0:53, First chorus - the line "At tea time", Private (or good?) Taylor only had 2 shots while Public (or bad?) Taylor already had 4 shots. And at this stage, Private Taylor was still doing fine with that amount.
But at mark 1:57, 2nd chorus - "at tea time", private taylor tried to do 4 shots, like public taylor did, but found that she can't be the same as public taylor, or else lavender comes out of her.. her public and private self can't ever be one and the same i guess? (Don't hesitate to chip in on what you guys think this means! I'll come back to this tom if i think of something clearer when i wake up 😅)
So yeah, is this a coincidence? I don't think so. Since taylor started directing her own music videos, i think it's safe to assume a lot of these things are intentional and probably mean something (deep or shallow).
I recently watched an interview of Taylor's music video editor - Chancler Haynes (he's also the one who edited this, Anti-Hero, Bejeweled, Cardigan, Willow.. etc.) , and the interviewer asked about the easter eggs Taylor puts on her videos, and Chancler said that Taylor already knows everything that needs to be put in her videos. Storyboards, and each detail/easter egg that needed to be visible in every shot. She also asks Chancler to edit or do effects on some just for that too.
