Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion. 1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Sliced cheese optional. Mayonnaise. Ketchup. Pickles optional.
Instructions: Add the breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper to the ground beef in a large bowl. Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty. Set your grill or pan on medium-high heat to get it ready. Put the burger patties on the grill or skillet and cook them for four to five minutes on each side for medium-rare burgers or longer if you like them more done. You can add sliced cheese to the burgers right before they're done cooking if you want to. In a toaster or on the grill, toast the hamburger buns until they're just barely browned. Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on the toasted buns to make your Cajun burgers. If you want, you can add pickles, lettuce leaves, a burger patty, and tomato slices. Put the other half of the bun on top and serve hot.
