minor spoilers for heartstopper season 3 but i need to talk about in episode 5 at the dinner table. bc when asked by their mom if they’re okay, charlie says “i’m fine” but tori says “we’re fine.” and it’s such a tiny difference but it’s absolutely the protective oldest sibling experience. it’s the move to deflect something that you know is upsetting to your younger sibling, to get between them and the abrasive thing, to take the bullet for them. it’s everything to me actually, i love you tori spring.
