currently watching: I haven't yet managed to finish the last season of The Diplomat, so that is still an ongoing thing. I also watched Aftersun (2022) yesterday!

currently reading: Hradba západu (The Fortress of the West), the most recent book from the Adventures of Captain Báthory series written by Juraj Červenák.

last place you went other than home: I finally saw a friend of mine today after a very long time, and we went to a very sweet, cosy café a few streets from where we both live.

Currently watching - Romulus (2020), a two seasons long Italian series that adapts myth about founders of Rome in such a way as to reflect realities of iron age on Italian peninsula. Scarce source matterial allows them to employ lots of artistic invention and by gods, I am liking what they came up with. Heartfelt hand in hand with brutal, full of very alien yet understandably conveyed mentalities, journey of the main two protagonists is riveting.

Currently reading - Sekera z bronzu, rúno zo zlata by Juraj Červenák, which can be summed up as "what if bunch of characters from Greek myths wandered beneath Carpathian mountains and threw a wrench into politics of local bronze age civilisation" and Bezectní lidé by Richard van Dülmen, which is about early modern marginalized groups of society.

Last song you listened to - Marcel Gidote's Holy Crab – Felvidék (OST). I am no gamer, but I like soundtracks and this one has some kind of quirky charm for sure.

Last song you sang out loud - Pokoj v duši by Jana Kirschner.

Currently craving - More time and willpower to do things.

Coffee or tea - Tea. Well, to be precise I drink mostly other herbal and fruit brews, because I rarely drink the real one - green and black tea. I am also hot cocoa and chocolate truther.

Earbuds or headphones - Both. Sometimes for music and other times for silence.

Favourite chips flavour - Salt. Just potato, oil, salt and no other nonsense. In past I had special fondness for "kotlíkové" - "cauldron ones" with rosemary too.
