Heyyyyy guys god I’m exhausted.
This is an announcement, I’ll reblog it a few times to make sure that as many people as possible will see it, but I’m moving blogs. Why? I can’t get into this account on my computer anymore and the staff refuse to work with me on it since an issue came up. I’ve tried to talk to them for nearly 2 weeks and nothing. So. Whining over. An anonymous gift exchange that all started (mostly) as a joke, and abruptly turned into a scramble of procrastination in the name of a voluntary sign-up event.
This past summer, a bunch of friends decided to put together an anonymous Yuri!!! On Ice fic exchange. The concept was simple: put forth three prompts, and you will get sent someone else’s prompts. Choose one that’s to your liking, and write a short fic between 2k-10k words.
Better than a Secret Santa….. a Shifty Skater.
Here we are, and here are the results. Guess the author if you can! The only people who know what each person wrote is that person themselves (…and the mods, but we’ll pretend they don’t know. It’s all in good fun).
Reveals will be posted this coming Friday (10/6) at 12:00PM PST. All authors will be free to share their own works at that point, and fics will be de-anonymized. Until then, happy guessing!

What Happens in Vegas
Wanted: participants for the study ‘Single People Get Married For a Week’ by Buzzfeed.
Yuuri is a burlesque dancer at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Victor is a blackjack dealer on the casino floor. When Yuuri agrees to sign up for the Buzzfeed challenge, he doesn’t expect to get married to “Blackjack Guy,” who Yuuri vaguely remembers flirting drunkenly with on one of his first nights working on the strip. Victor seems smitten with him, and Yuuri isn’t sure what to do with it.
They say that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but what is Yuuri going to do with a seven-day husband?
While It Lasts
King Victor expected a few things from his diplomatic visit to Hasetsu: to experience a full immersion into the culture, to learn more about their people, and to build a meaningful connection between Japan and his kingdom. He did not, however, expect Yuuri Katsuki. And if he has to enlist the help of his young charge to build a meaningful connection with Yuuri, well, that’s just the prerogative of a king.

“You already know what I look like naked,” Viktor says, “so I think it’d be quite easy to pretend I’m your boyfriend.”
Yuuri gets himself into trouble at a bar before he even gets drunk. Luckily for Yuuri, his hot neighbor and longtime crush, who Yuuri tries not to peek at while he wanders around his apartment, is also at the bar.
Worlds Apart
It wasn’t always easy coming back from the rink ever since Katsuki Yuuri had joined them a few weeks ago, his presence such a strong reminder of the relationship that had slipped away from Yakov so many years ago. It made him think of how it had all begun on the day he had seen Lilia Baranovskaya dance on stage and instantly fell in love.
Some loves aren’t meant to last, some of them just fade out after a while. As Viktor grows up, he watches Yakov and Lilia become more distant by the day - and promises himself that he will never be like that.

Seung-gil is having a terrible day, but Phichit is totally into that.

Yuuri receives an invitation to a wedding in St. Barts right after the Cup of China. It only makes logical sense for Victor to be his plus one.
Nothing would make Victor happier than for his attendance with Yuuri to be something more.
Requiem
After suffering a career ending injury grief manifests into depression and Viktor moves to Detroit to start over. Detroit is one of the last places he’d thought he’d end up, but if different is what he wants it’s as good a city as any. It isn’t until he meets Katsuki Yuuri that he learns to live again, but Yuuri is hiding secrets of his own and Detroit isn’t quite the escape Viktor thought it would be. As it turns out, falling in love is the easy part.
