This weekend we have been looking for some shadow crags and we found some in Olba! In Teruel province, this amazing place has so many nice routes for all levels! We have been camping in @refugioaltomijares and we just found out it is incredible close to the climbing walls! In addition, they have an updated climbing topo and hand made local beer! 📖🍺☀️ If you want a perfect climbing spot for summer, just come to Olba! Last day of climbing in Spain, but first day climbing on conglomerate potatoes!!! 🥔💪😂 While our main guide was doing his last climbing exam in Collegats, the guys couldn't be in better hands: local guide Gorka was there to show them the beauties of the area! Birthday climbs with @mistaken_mexican, @ottolie1234 and @gemmalouisesuds after a well deserved rest day kayaking in Montrebei Gorge! Climbing holiday in Spain with the british team!! We are so glad this girls are coming back to Spain to climb with us! This time they brought a new friend with them, Kiran (@mistaken_mexican) who is turning years during this week! We are staying at @chris_sharma shack in Sant Llorenç de Montgai with amazing views of the river and the mountains. In our second climbing day we did a multi-pitch route, Isaac-Gabriel (140m, V+) and we did it in a team of four climbers! We were lucky enough to have pretty big terraces in our belay stations which made it easier for us. It was the first experience in long routes like this for Millie amd Kiran, but not for Gemma who already did some multi-pitches in Verdon Gorge. Despite the sun and the hot temperatures, the climb was very good having some very nice (and hard!) moves. . Getting to the crag is not always easy! Day 4 climbing in Valencia with Tel! Due weather forecast we changed our original plan of going to Chulilla for two days and we spent a nice day in Gandia doing some epic overhangs! Learning how to climb on slippery tufas is not easy! 🙈😌Luckily our guest didn't get afraid so easily! 💪After a full day climbing a muerte we went to the bar to get some spanish potatoes with brava sauce! Third day climbing with Tel in Spain! This time our destination was Xeresa, a north faced wall with sport multi-pitch routes perfect for the summer! In the morning it was raining a bit but then it stopped and we were able to do Esperando a Maria (6a+, 110m). After a lunch break we did the first pitch of Alta Tension, a very funny long 7a with lots of jugs all the way up. In his second go, Tel managed to send the route making his hardest climb of the trip so far!! Something like 24 in the AUS climbing scale! Congrats!! 💪💪🎉 . We are spending amazing climbing holiday in Valencia with Tel, from Australia! We've already climbed in Jérica and Montanejos, having a first taste of spanish limestone. Amazing climbing day in Sella with Elise (@elisevonk) and Alfred (@alfredlut)! For not being climbing outside for a year, they surprised our guide with their skills! From the very first minute we knew we were going to have a lot of fun with this Dutch couple and so we did! The last member of the swedish climbing crew was Cecilia (@cecilia_bjelke)! It was her second time with us and her climbing technique showed the efficiency of her hard training back in Sweden! Richard (@ricbay), from Sweden, was climbing with us in Alcalali and it was very inspiring to see how much he was enjoying every single route we climbed! It is definitely very different to climb indoors than to climb outdoors, and we were very glad to accompany him in this learning process when you need to read the real rock and figure out new moves. He is already planning an upcoming trip to El Chorro, one of the most important crag in Spain, and we are looking forward to follow him in his vertical adventures!! Our last outdoor climbing trip was yesterday in Alicante with a very nice group of Swedish climbers! We are going to introduce you to all of them! Here you have Stefan (@stefanbrunn) a Thaiboxing instructor, super strong and also very nice and friendly! He is a good speaker and likes to talk about his travels and experiences around the world like eating exotic dishes such as ants' eggs, scorpions and every kind of insects. Annica (@a.allstadius), from Sweden, was climbing outdoors with us yesterday in Alcalali! She climbed like a warrior the high routes we did, sometimes coming down with war marks on her knees!
