"Wannabe" Spice Girls... This is what resulted of Blizzard Nemo... Can you say CABIN FEVER?
I know you attend New England Institute of Art but I'm looking to transfer to a Boston / Mass university. Since you live there, could you give me your opinion on the colleges in the area? :) I'm most interested in northeastern and umass. Thank you xx and sorry for the long question!
Hi there, I already graduated, but I do still live in Boston. As far as colleges go, out of Northeastern and Umass, I'd say Northeastern is a better location as far as public transportation. When you live in Boston, there's no need for a car, you can pretty much get anywhere by the T or bus. I guess ultimately you need to decide which college has the better program for what you're going for and which you feel more comfortable at. Northeastern is next to a bunch of other colleges like massart, wentworth, etc. It's a whole area of college kids over there. Umass kind of has it's own world. My vote is Northeastern, but you need to do what's right for you ! :) Good luck! You will LOVE Boston! Any other questions about the topic, i'll be glad to answer them!

Whole Wheat Banana Bread!
INGREDIENTS: 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil (<--Or substitute w/ Apple Sauce like I did! still 1/3Cup) 1 Teaspoon Vanilla 1 Cup mashed very ripe Bananas 2 Eggs (You could experiment with 4 egg whites as well) 1 3/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 Cup hot water 1/2 Cup Sweetener of choice (I used Splenda, but you could use honey or stevia)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix oil (or apple sauce) with sweetener. Add eggs, and mix well. Stir in bananas and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt.
Add baking soda to hot water, stir to mix, and then add to batter.
Blend in any additions, like chocolate chips, nuts, etc.
Spread batter into a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes. Let cool before slicing!
This made a good batch of banana bread 12-14 slices. I enjoyed a slice for breakfast with a little peanut butter on top! YUM.
