the king of cups stands for abundance, security, generosity, reliability, levelheadedness and tolerances. the coins (as well as the gold jewelery) stand for wealth (duh) and the way he holds them with one hand only and his face turned away symbolize the security and confidence he has in his power and how he knows his limitations, which is why he reaps the benefits and rewards for it, symbolized by the skull‘s star eye

reversed this card speaks about behaviors that might be self-destructive as well as controlling, dishonest and manipulative. he’s walking through wild blackberry vines which are persistent and thorny and hard to get rid off just like those qualities and the eyes staring at him and the gold he carries symbolize those things coming from outside until he‘s internalized them

This piece took alot longer than i wanted it to, i wanted it to be perfect and meaningful. I had struggled alot trying to find an idea i felt suited technoblade, and then even more to actually execute it, i have spent most of this month coming back to this piece over and over, i’ve scrapped many ideas and have had to sit down and take a break many times. In the end i settled for something that suited his character more than him, there arent really words i can put on this piece, but im not sure i need to. The feeling is what really matters isnt it?

Technoblade meant so much to me, and to so many others, not a day goes by where we don’t miss him. It has been 4 years since he passed, and in those years he has still managed to make an impact on people, through his memory he lives on.

Because Technoblade never dies.
