Why he had let her try this out was beyond him, but here they were. Arms tested the limitations of his bindings, finding they were easy enough to break if he actually tried. “What’s your plan now, Barton?”

         Fingers curled and uncurled at the tight bindings around his wrists. They were actually a lot stronger than Steve first realized, offering resistance when he tried to lightly pull. A blond brow rose slightly, giving Tony a questioning look. “I didn’t realize you were into this sort of thing, Mister Stark”. He had tried to resist saying that, really. But it was a losing battle against his slightly sassy and sarcastic tongue.
