TOKYO - Japanese anecdotes Part 1

A year ago (Sept 2019) I was in Japan on a two-week itinerary. Nothing beats seeing a new country with fresh new eyes. Especially one as visually stunning as Japan. I loved the extremes of modern cities with neon lights next to ancient temples. It’s almost like being on another planet. Experiencing some culture shock with the language barrier driving us to learn and speak the language was definitely a good thing. The food, oh the food!  Probably the most delicious food I’ve ever put on my mouth. It’s all fun stuff, even the painful jet-lag that made it so hard to function the first few days!  I am super grateful I got to visit pre-pandemic times.  Please join me for Part 1 of this Japan series.

For the mayans, these were sacred places, who used them for rituals, and ceremonies.

I made this video for my brother and his fiance Carolina. Most of all, this video is a reflection of all the stages in the life of two people from different backgrounds that have to go through many life experiences before they get the opportunity to meet, and once they do, the become inseparable. Divine timing is REAL!

Documenting how enchanting fall can be. I love the explosion of colors and the crisp air on my face. I like noticing the trees and how gracefully they let go of their leaves. I guess, the letting go with 'grace' part, is something I can learn from. :) Also, day trip at Storm King is perfect for a date! FYI.

A few years ago, I interviewed New Age TV host Alan Steinfeld about how his curiosity lead him to start a show that would enable him to talk to leaders in the field of consciousness. A lot of these teachings have a common theme: What happens when we go beyond the five senses? Beyond what we can see, taste, touch, hear, and smell. As we become multi-sensory, we begin to awaken.

The curse is over! Was finally able to finish a new video. It’s been 8 months since the last one, so I am happy to report that I finally put together all this footage from our trip to Kauai. 

Queen’s bath is the “Kween” of the tide pools. You can jump off a cliff and swim with fish, and if you are lucky, you can spot some wild turtles. ;n)

Even though it’s pretty tranquil for the most part, make sure you check out the surf report that morning, the waves can fill the pool in a matter of seconds, making it quite turbulent if you are swimming in there.  Other than that, it’s a blast!  Enjoy this little vid. :n)

We escaped Brooklyn, NY to greener pastures, even if only for a weekend, was wonderful to wash away that (energetic) city grime by bathing in the the waterfalls of Woodstock, NY. Mini Body Actualized reunion.  Here’s a home vid, celebrating summer:

Dolphins, the magnificent and highly conscious beings, the most playful, joyful, and loving creatures on this planet, they have the ability to induce us into a higher state of vibration, reminding us to connect with our joy, humor, and playfulness.

During our trip to Mazunte, Oaxaca (a low key paradise in the Pacific coast of Mexico).  We took a boat tour with one of the local fishermen and were lucky to see dolphins.  They were playful, following our boat for a long of time.  We finally felt comfortable enough to jump in the water, which allowed us to appreciate them in their element.

We landed in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca and took a cab to Mazunte. 

Mazunte is a small beach town on the Pacific coast in Oaxaca, Mexico. 

Even in the early 90s, Mazunte was still a wild, virtually uninhabited beach. There were no access roads at that time.

Today Mazunte still attracts a more Bohemian  crowd, but the town is making a run to become less of a hidden gem and more of a must-see stop on the Oaxacan Coast.
