Three (3) months in...
Soooo I’ve been living here for three months now and i have to say ....
I like it alot but I don’t love it. If that makes any sense. Like everywhere you go in the world you have pros and cons. I’m going to say the pros definitely outweigh the cons, keep in mind this is just my opinion. Sure there are things I can live without but there are a lot of things and people I’m happy I’ve stumbled across. Now back to what I was saying... I like it alot but I don’t love it... here's what I mean. Beijing is a big, beautiful (on a good day), interesting and very busy city filled with lots of diversity and I'm enjoying my time here but I don’t think I can ever, like the old people say “make my bed here”. I’m young and have years until I start  thinking about  being settled but I can't help thinking about my future life and children. Career? Yes! Depending on the career path I take, my career can be booming! On the other hand... Looking at myself older with a family? No! I don't see that happening in Beijing. However... in my youth I’m going to make and take the best of this City.Â
Moving to Beijing,China
As you can tell from the title I’m moving to China. Making this decision was the most overwhelmed I’ve ever been in my entire life. My feelings went from excited to overly nervous as time was winding down. I’ve always wanted to travel, see different parts of the world. I’m from The Bahamas and if you don't know where that is... It’s a little country south of Florida known for its beautiful weather, sea and sun. Even though my home country is very very small it’s filled with diversity and I’ve always been curious of what more I can experience in the world. Seeing that China is relatively affordable and I’ve always had interest in their culture I choose it to be top on my list. I’m going there to study mandarin for a year. Who knows the opportunities I can attract and gain. Isn’t life about risks?Â
