Re: Pixel "Cheese chips"

Today I made a snack referred to as "cheese chips." I lived briefly in Jamaica when my mother was deployed. As an aspiring pixel artist I wanted to recreate Jamaican snacks. I want to use Jamaican snacks in a future project so I tried.

I don't know why I fretted over making this, it didn't take that long to complete, once I internalized the shape & colors, it was done. Does this mean I've gotten better? The images are 32 bit art I converted one of them to 64.

I'm really proud of how they turned out, I was satisfied with them in its beginning stage but after asking someone they said it didn't look like a bag of chips, granted they didn't know much about pixel art or what I was going for but I at least wanted it to be obvious it was a bag of chips. So I tried to add more detail. I like the version that doesn't have an outline (The fourth pic).

Still debating on how to do my own sprites, I really want them to have PSWG eyes but at the same time I also want to show off their fashion sense. It's possible to be able to see their cloths and have sprites eyes right? It all just comes down to a manner of skill.

This sprite made me realized that even if I end up compromising it's not the end of the world.

Who needs some milk?! As I said before I started off making milk cartons, then began to add more flavors to my new (Pk) milk series. The MK Milk series was made on a bigger image size than the rest so I could use line art for the k.
