I’m having Writer’s block again. So I thought answering some questions will refresh my mind to get me out of it. So feel free ask about my AUs of Luis and the Warners or Velocity and Team marvel.

Hit me with 5 more headcanons about insomniac shocker...

These are mostly less depressing than the others yippeee

Herman is very good at sewing because he made his suit, it's like a hidden talent he hides from most people because he's scared it'll make him look less masculine and he won't be taken seriously. Little does he know he would have a lot more friends if people knew this about him because he could help repair gear/suits for other villains, probably for some money too.

(This first bit is lowkey canon) He has a limp (made worse temporarily by the demons - mentioned in last post) because of the long term effects of the gauntlets and the suit simply not being enough to fully protect him, and also because of fighting all the time. It causes a lot of joint pain, and he usually has the strongest over the counter painkillers he can get his hands on and they're usually found by his bed for those really bad days. Because of his limp, others have figured out that his knees and hips are weaker - and will kick the back of his knees to get him down if they want to, either for fun or to get him down to threaten him.

Finds comfort in smaller spaces/closet spaces, but not like-- cramped spaces because hes also claustrophobic. It's a cruel irony, really. Closets specifically because when he was a kid his parents weren't great, and had multiple relationship issues. He would hide in his closet to wait for the arguing to stop, and if Marty was there he would bring him in too to protect him.

(Based on my under the mask design for him) He's lowkey insecure about the white streak in his hair.

Also insecure about his height, even though hes average height a lot of other villains are taller or built like fucking tanks. He has muscle, sure, and can hold his own but it's less noticeable. He doesn't wanna be a tank or anything, he just doesn't like feeling so small next to everyone else. They use him as an arm rest, or pet his head like hes a dog just because he's physically beneath them, and geab his jaw to keep him looking up at them. He hates the feeling of being manhandled.

He was forced to take his helmet off during the fight with Kraven so that Kraven could see the fear in his eyes while fighting for his life.

what do we think of insominac electro/shocker............... i always had these passing ideas of when shocker was doing the sinister six's dirty work he often came into contact with electro who often flirted and messed with him. I imagine they didnt have anything serious but i wonder if it could get toxic heheh.

(Warning I go on a bit of a rant about various things/pairings/dynamics so like-- sorry ig)

I haven't thought of it before actually--

(Half of the reason being I ship him so much with Wolf that I forget Wolf is just my oc and not canon)

But weirdly enough though I HAVE thought about him and Scorpion before - based on what happened in the prequel book, mostly, and also a few headcanons. But the thing is Scorpion and Rhino have more of an actual on-screen dynamic (that being old married couple vibes) than Scorpion and Shocker do so I haven't thought about that for a while either.

Usually I'm thinking about what happened between Shocker and Martin/The Demons but that's just angsty using him to his advantage type of thing.

Considering how long Electro and Shocker have been villains for, it's possible they've had stuff in the past, even if not in the game itself/stuff not shown. They both have like, short man energy (they're both 5'9) and the type of attitude that will bounce off each other dangerously, but mostly Electro getting into barfights and Shocker holding him back. But if you can make it work, I'll accept that.

I AM, however, concepting up an Insomniac Boomerang design so I can add my delusions about Shockerang into it. I haven't touched it in like a month but I am working on it.

Insomniac Boomerang concept

So I mentioned somewhere in an autism fueled post about making a Boomerang design for if he was in the Insomniac Spider-Man games.

I decided to finish him, make some tweaks based on feedback. And yeah. Here's the base concept, but he could change slightly.

For sheets like this you're meant to ideally add a back view but I honestly struggle a lot with those and don't want to ruin the sheet with an awful drawing rn (TRUST ME I TRIED)

Here's the concepting he went through aswell

Generating ideas for shapes and stuff - testing combinations - then colour testing. Obviously there were changes after to get his first final design too.

You can see in the original boomerangs on the side thing that it was for his old placement.

Youre the Electro expert.

So... Ive never actually drawn this man before, and I attempted it in my own style with my own hints of flair because I can't help but give characters little hints of animal features. So-- bat wing like electricity.

Also I eyeballed the colours and changed em slightly because i do not like the tones of his colours

been so focussed on shockerang and stuff that i neglected my favourite ship :(

Some nights are worse than others. The more he got used to not having Boomer around, the more emptiness he felt.

Herman suffers in silence, though sometimes he puts on some stupid movie just to have as background noise but he usually ends up listening to the static as his crappy tv breaks. He drinks whatever cheap beer he can get hold of that evening, and drowning his confused sadness while sitting on his sofa.

Sometimes Millie comes over and endlessly paws at him with one of her toys in her little mouth, trying to get him to play. She can sense something is wrong. It gets overwhelming, but he can't bring himself to snap at her - it's not her fault, she doesn't know whats going on. She's a cat.

And as routine, he gives in. He throws her toy a couple of times, until shes content that she's cheered him up, and then she curls up on his chest and purrs and falls asleep.

And Herman is once again on his own, thinking of his dead friend.

i dont think ive posted my baby here so Im gonna do that now.

Her name is Lucky. Shes a marvel oc and she was taken in by Shocker. Her younger version is used as a base/just general use across variants. Her older version is used mostly for Insomniac based, because obviously Shocker died in that one.
