my journey here:
i’ve held GC views and lurked on GC blogs since around 2018, but i’ve only recently had the courage to break away from my TRA friend group and make a blog over here.
my first 'peaking' was rather early mostly because, as a lesbian, i was disgusted by the TRA's demands that i must be into TIMs. the rest of the dominos came falling shortly after i decided to lurk on the blog of a random “terf” who was getting "owned" on my dashboard, and realized their ideas simply made way more sense. but my entire friend group consisted of Ts and TRAs - so i kept my mouth shut.
however, it wasn't until the ISFF Pedo Apologism Incident Of Late 2025, where i saw my own "friends" reblogging posts defending that freakshow, when i finally realized i could no longer maintain my cognitive dissonance. this was not just a case of some bad apples spoiling the bunch. the entire ideology is flawed, and i will no longer pretend to tolerate it nor will i be quiet about it.
anyway, i’m hoping i can have interesting discussions and make some friends here! i might be overly-chatty for a bit because i’m finally letting myself say the things i’ve always wanted to say, so pardon that haha.
by the way, i am crypto friendly and will never rat you out!
“Hey I was pressured to go through with this at a young age, the risks were downplayed or outright concealed from me. And people told me I would never be happy if I didn’t do it and no one ever regrets it so I should just do it. Well it massively affected my quality of life and I regret it!”
“That’s on you dumbass. No one made you do that 🙄”
“I just think that if people like me who are the same age I was when I did this deserve to know the risks at the very least”
i don’t know how anyone can watch as all the girls and full-grown women around them claim nb identities, can read all these comments and the thousands like them on the thousands of tiktok videos exactly like this, and not realize that the answer is that womanhood is in fact... not an identity. it was never something you need to “feel like” in order to be.
some of my favorite (aka the most depressing) comments are “you know it [feeling like a woman] when you feel it. you are comfortable with your assigned gender and sex. you like everything about your gender and sex.” and “for me i think it’s because womanhood is portrayed as docile fragility and i don’t vibe with that” and “yes. it’s like i don’t think about my gender until someone makes expectations of me based upon it.”
The "you like everything about your gender and sex" thing is why "cis" is not an accurate description of me. I'm a woman bc I'm female, not bc I vibe with femininity like that
while there are many TIMs who appropriate butchfemme language, i've also seen an equal amount of them who are completely vitriolic towards the culture, with a very specific kind of hate directed towards butchness. notice the use of tma (TIMs) and tme (literally everyone else, but specifically in this case women). they very much hate butchfemme because, as a female exclusive culture, it does not cater to them.
wow i wonder why males who are desperately trying to escape their maleness, self identity as lesbians, and equate womanhood with femininity hate butches. i can't possibly think of a single reason
